This was a really nice apartment. It was clean and well-kept. The woman who checked us in really didn't speak English at all so we had to rely on our high-school German. Come with a few phrases ready to go. We really enjoyed our stay.
The #9 bus takes you directly to the apartment--except not on Weekends. We learned that the hard way. The subway is somewhat close, but it is still a long walk if you have luggage to lug around like we did.
Another word of warning. If you are not used to the washer/dryer combo machine, don't attempt to dry your clothes. Washing them works well, but we absolutely ruined two nice shirts during the "dry" (or should I say bake) cycle.
We loved the concert at St. Anna's church. They play Vivaldi's Four Seasons and a few other works. The church is small and ornate. We got to sit on the front row because we arrived about a 1/2 hour early (there are no assigned seats). The concert was absolutely magical. It was as if they were playing to just our little family. There are 5 string-players and the sound is incredible. We are so glad we didn't go to one of the more touristy concerts. It was the highlight of our trip. The dress code is casual.
