5 Minutes from the beach, stunning sunsets, 360 degree sea and mountain views

This amazing self-catering three storey villa set in private grounds is just five minutes from the stunning Nai Harn beach in the south of Phuket. With great local amenities and restaurants the villa is only 15 minutes from the lively nightlife of Kata and Karon beach with Patong an easy 25 minutes away. There are also a number of beautiful and secluded beaches in the close vicinity.

Ideal for families, couples or large groups, enjoy evening meals on the roof terrace taking in the breathtaking 360 degree sunset, sea and mountain views or dine in the outdoor Balinese sala. Relax by the pool or sunbathe in the garden and unwind in complete privacy.

The open plan living/dining area fully air-conditioned has a kitchen fitted to high European standards and the villa is luxuriously furnished throughout. There are four bedrooms, three en suite, the master occupies the whole top floor and has its own private balcony overlooking the pool. There is a balcony on the first floor which the other two bedrooms share.

Further Nai Harn Activities: Snorkeling and diving trips go from Rawai beach, 10 minutes from the villa. One can also hire a speedboat and go around the many uninhabited islands just off the coast. There is horse riding 10 minutes from the villa. One can hire sea kayaks or boats on Nai Harn beach, sailing lessons are also available. There are several local spa's and health and beauty centers. There are ATV tours, elephant safari's and a snake show 10 minutes from the villa. On Nai Harn beach there is a monastery and about 20 minutes away is Wat Chalong Buddhist Temple. Excellent night life is not far with Kata, Karon and Patong 15 - 30 minutes away. There are also numerous small bars in the immediate area and two night clubs open until 6 am, these are liveliest in the high and mid seasons. Phuket has a number of high standard golf courses; the closest one to the villa is Phuket Country Club golf course which is 20 minutes away. Fishing expeditions run from Rawai beach.

Phuket zoo is about 15 minutes away and there is also great shopping 20 minutes away in Central, or for local markets Karon and Kata have a good range of stalls selling everything from fake clothes to watches, CDs, DVDs and tourist souvenirs. There is great surfing to be had on Nai Harn beach at the end of the dry season and in the rainy season.

There is a large Muay Thai camp 5 minutes from the villa which attracts many foreigners wanting to come and train with local boxers. 1 Day training sessions are offered. Please contact us for a wide range of photos of the villa, views and the surrounding beaches.

Refurbished in 2010: The villa has under gone some major refurbishments during January and February 2010. We have installed all new stainless and glass railing to all the balconies and roof terrace, built a roof top sala to enjoy the great views while keeping out of the sun. All new windows and doors have been fitted and the whole villa really does have a smart modern feel to it.

The garden has been landscaped and the entire property inside and out has been redecorated.

New furniture have been purchased for both the garden and pool areas as well as the roof top terrace.

The 4th bedroom is a detached studio over the car port next to the pool, it has it's own access from the garden without disturbing the other guests in the villa. It is fully fitted out to the same high standard and in the same style as the main house. This work is all new in April 2010.

We stayed at Villa Tamarind with 5 friends and had an amazing time. The villa is ideally located for great nights out, fantastic beaches, excellent activities and also very well suited to relax at during the day. The cleaning staff and lady who did the airport transfers were very helpful and polite and the villa had all the amenities we could have hoped for from a luxury villa and more. We will definitely be back!! Guy

We feel good in your house and we think we come back someday. Nai Harn beach was wonderful. The lady Nui and her daughter have done the housework very good and we had nothing to do. We visited the west coast of Phuket and we agree that is was a good decision to stay in Nai Harn.

We stayed at Villa Tamarind with 5 friends and had an amazing time. The villa is ideally located for great nights out, fantastic beaches, excellent activities and also very well suited to relax at during the day. We had a wonderful holiday at the villa; the villa was fabulous and everything ran smoothly with the staff there. Though only 25 minutes from the bright lights of Patong, there was enough nightlife locally to keep even our hardiest party animals entertained!

We hope this email finds you well. We have just come back to London from our stay in Phuket and miss it very much already!
We had a wonderful time in your very comfortable house and thanks for sorting out the sound system, which worked like a charm. All arrangements worked perfectly and Richard was super helpfull everytime we called! The new facelift to the villa definitely gives it a fresh modern feel.
We are so glad we stayed where we did and not around the more - unbearable, even though interesting to see - touristy part of the island. We are already thinking of going back next year!?!?!
Thanks again and keep us posted if anything changes with the villa.

overall our stay was very good,however the villa needs a bit of restauration especially the roof top,where the only thing we found was broken table/chair,not at all the picture describe on the net,which was a shame.
Also the location is decribe as 5mns from shop or 5-10mns from beach however does not mention that this is by car. and trying to walk it every day to make it to the nearest shop was a bit tedious.
otherwise lovely maid, doing an excellent job , nice pool area,house was well furnished.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Very glad you had a great stay at Villa Tamarind. The points made are all very accurate; I must apologise if the times to the local areas in the advertisement were not clearly indicated by car or scooter, I will look to modify the advert.

All exterior wooden furniture has suffered from the salt and sea air along with the tropical sun. These are scheduled to be replaced with high quality synthetic rattan when I’m next in Thailand at the beginning of December.
