Excellent holiday rental
We stayed 3 nights in one of the apartments and had a good time. At first I was a bit worried because of the potential noise since there's 8 flats in the building but I needn't have worried. Although all flats were occupied during our stay - and most other guests had children, we didn't hear a sound once we were in our flat. The location is great: the (only) supermarket is at one end of the road, the (small but quaint) city centre at the other. Also the beach is a mere 5 min walk away.
The owner, Susanne, was great too. When we arrived, we noticed the skillet was broken and that the biggest pan could only contain 1 liter. We mentioned this and the next morning there were 2 new ones waiting at our doorstep. It took this long because we told her we wouldn't be needing it that same evening.
Domburg is a quiet place. If your looking for wild partying till the wee hours, this is not the place to go. But if a quiet, relaxing trip with beach walks and visiting nearby quaint villages is what you're looking for, this is a perfect place.
One small comment tho - and it has been mentioned before - Although the flat is exactly as described and there are no unpleasant surprises to be found, I think the term 'Luxury' is stretching it a little bit. An oven and 2 more hobs would have been nice. It's hard to cook a meal with only 2 hobs and no oven. Of course this doesn't matter if you're planning on eating out every night.
Also, although 4 people can sleep here, I wouldn't recommend it for 4 adults. We stayed in a top floor flat and the 2nd bedroom was directly under the roof. I don't think a 10 year old could stand in this room.
Other than that: excellent place and we will be coming back.
