Situated on a scenic, salt-water, canal lot with quick access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico, this magnificent home was built in 2002 and comes newly furnished, and features all the amenities you would expect for total comfort. Take a dip in the heated pool or enjoy breakfast on the lanai, all within a new screened enclosure for added comfort. Walk out to the dock and board your boat stored on the 10,000-pound boat lift and head out to Charlotte Harbor or the Gulf of Mexico for a day of fishing or a visit to historic Punta Gorda.

Once inside, relax under the vaulted cathedral ceilings with an open floor plan that includes a large, porcelain tiled, eat-in kitchen with breakfast bar area leading to a huge great room with cable television and surround sound speakers. From this vantage point, look out over the lanai through the sliding doors toward the canal and enjoy a spectacular sunset available with the western exposure. Enjoy your favorite cuisine in the formal dining room or curl up with a good book in the carpeted study/living room.

The master suite has a queen-size bed, walk-in closet, and private bathroom which includes a soaking tub and walk-in shower. The pool area can be directly accessed from the master bath. The split bedrooms have full-size beds with plenty of closet space. All bedrooms have lighted ceiling fans. The utility room includes a large capacity washer and dryer and offers additional space for storage.

This tastefully decorated home has central air conditioning, with multiple cable television hook ups. Weekly lawn and pool services are provided.

For those with an interest in baseball, enjoy a Tampa Bay Rays spring training game at nearby Charlotte Sports Park (6 miles) or during the regular season, take in a Charlotte Stone Crabs, Class A, evening game with a $6 ticket and frequent special promotion games.

Take your chances on the slot machine, blackjack table or poker table at either of the 2 Hard Rock Cafe hotel/casinos within easy driving distance...in Tampa (1 1/2 hour drive) and Hollywood (2 hour drive)or at nearby Seminole casino in Immokalee (1 hour).

We are located just minutes away from the Port Charlotte town center, as well as area beaches and recreational facilities. Local airports, Fort Myers and Sarasota, are within a 45-minute drive.

We purchased this salt water canal home in 2005. We are part of the baby boomer generation and have hopes in the near future of moving here, where the sun always seems to be shining, and the waters of Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico await the many cruises we'll take aboard our pleasure cruiser. We welcome you to come here to escape the harsh winters of the north and enjoy all that this area has to offer. You won't regret your decision.

Our stay couldn't have been better. The home was all we hoped for and more and the owners worked with us on any request we made when making reservations. The area is beautiful. We really appreciated the beauty of the canals going out to the river. Look forward to future stays.

My husband & I stay here May 2012 for 2 wks. My husband has just had knee surgery 2 wks before. We thought we may have to cancel (he loves to exercise in the pool) but the Dr. said it would be the best thing for him. I even worked out with him sometimes 2 times a day. He caught 3 fish in the canal, which put a big smile on his face. We had such a good time I'm sure well be staying again next year.

We spent two weeks here May 2011 and I extend my apologies to the owners for waiting so long to write this reveiw! They were very friendly and easy to work with in arranging the rental. The home is well situated to getting around town and in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The home was nicer than the pictures depicted! The home itself is very clean and well furnished for your every need with a very comfortable bed and comfortable furniture for relaxing. The lanai and pool were very nice and we spent alot of time outside. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

We spent January and February 2011 at this propery and had a wonderful stay in sunny Florida while the North was experiencing awful weather! The VRBO listing accurately reflects the rental's appearance and amenities. Home was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Owners were extremely helpful and put a lot of care in furnishing home to accommodate your stay. They were easy to work with and responsive to our every question/concern. Home is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood and is centrally located allowing easy travel to beach areas or Punta Gorda.

We found this home to be tastefully decorated & very comfortable. It was furnished with everything one would need, including Pool Toys & a Fishing Pole!
The home is located in a quite neighborhood & is minutes away from shopping & great beaches on the Gulf side of Florida.
This was our first experience in using VRBO Website & found the owners very pleasant & easy to work with. We would highly recommend this home to friends & family & would be repeat clients.
