My wife and I are currently staying in this apartment. We decided to spend the winter in Nice so we have booked it for 2.5 months.
It is great, and we are really enjoying it. We can speak only in superlatives. From the beginning of the booking process Elyane has been wonderful. When we arrived she and her husband picked us up at the airport. When we arrived to the apartment it was very clean, with courtesy chocolates, wine, beer, champagne and fruits. It was a very warm welcome. She has always been very kind and helpful.
The apartment itself feels bigger than it is, and it is highly functional. There is a wall full of mirrored cupboards in the bedroom, with plenty of space. The bed is very comfortable. A small terrace with table and two chairs is facing south, overlooking Rue de France. In the living room the sofa can be extended. The kitchen area is small, but sufficient for daily cooking, and all devices and plumbing are modern. The same applies for bathroom, the fixtures and plumbing seem to be almost new. The owner really thought of everything: apart from the equipped kitchen there is also a cable TV, built in DVD player, stereo system, telephone, wireless Internet connection, washing machine, lots of towels and linens, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, down to spare lamps, wine opener and spices... anything you can possibly need for your stay.
For those who visit in winter, the heating consists of central heating with two radiators, and there are also reversible air conditioning and an additional electric heater in the bathroom. We never needed the latter two. All we use is central heating, with only one of the radiators. During daytime on sunny days we don’t need any heating at all.
The location is perfect. When you leave the apartment building and stay in Rue de France after only a few blocks you get to three supermarkets at Gambetta. To the left of the apartment, there is a small supermarket just around the corner, and the town central square and the main shopping area are less than 10 minutes away.
The Massena museum is across the street from the apartment, and the beach and Negresco only one block away. From there you can turn left and walk along the Promenade to the old town in 15 minutes.
Next time we visit Nice we will again try to book this apartment, and we will recommend it to all our friends!
