We offer you a fantastic apartment of 110 square metres . This apartment gives you a spectacular sensation of space and light, it is fully covered with parquet. The American kitchen and the big living room gives you one unique space of 48 square metres. The living room is especially sunny because of its six-meter windows. The new design-style kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave grill, Italian coffee maker, toaster, and all the dishes and plates you may need.

The living room is equipped with all the commodities, TV 25-inch with SATELLITE TV, CD/radio, a comfortable sofa bed and two individual chairs. The apartment has three spacious bedrooms, one is a suite (double-size bed) with its own bathroom, the two other ones have two twin beds (all are equipped with a wardrobe to put all your clothes). It has two bathrooms, one inside the suite and the other one for the two other bedrooms (both equipped with showers).

A free cot for a child is available if needed. At the beginning of the stay we supply you with clean towels and sheets. We make the cleaning of the apartment once a week (or more often on request). All costs are included (water and electricity). The building is equipped with an LIFT.

The location is excellent and very central just at a five-minute walk from the famous SAGRADA FAMILIA, the cathedral from Gaudi (area example) in the center of Barcelona. Near the Sagrada Familia you will find a bus stop to take the TOURISTIC BUS. At only a five-minute walk you can find the 'Avenue Gaudi,' a pleasant avenue very appreciated for the Spanish people, with a lot of restaurants and terraces to take a drink and observe the lighting of the cathedral by night (you cannot miss it). An other interesting place and also a stop of the modernist route (like the Sagrada Familia) is the HOSPITAL SANT PAU.

The area is especially SAFE and QUIET. At only 20 meters from the apartment you will find three supermarkets, an excellent bakery that makes delicious croissants for your breakfast, and a biologic shop. From our apartment you can reach all the areas of Barcelona in a very short time. There are two metro lines (L-Lilac (II) et L-blue (V) at a two-minute walk from the apartment that lead you directly to the Plaza Catalunya (Old City - 15 minutes) or Pº de Gracia (ten minutes). If you want to go to the beach you have also a direct bus that last around 15-20 minutes.

Wonderful family apartment

The apartment was perfect for our family of four adults and two children. It was very clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were in Barcelona for three days before a five day cruise and staying here was the perfect start to our vacation.

A simply great vacation for eight.

This apartment is so great that it's worth going to Europe just to stay there. Eight of us -- two grandparents and our sons with their wives and daughters -- lived happily for a week, cooking many meals in a nicely appointed kitchen with broad granite counters, then eating them at a spacious table for eight. Everything in the apt is almost brand new, works well, and looks good. A bay window about 20 or 25 feet wide overlooks the street, which is two floors below. Windows operate well. Two layers of curtains provide privacy when needed, but the living space is light and airy. Decor is modern and unobtrusive, in neutral colors.

Security is excellent, with separate keys for the building and the apt. We were given three sets. Management is on site from 9 am to 7 pm each day. Manager was incredibly helpful, coming upstairs to teach us how to use the combination washer / dryer and the combination microwave / convection oven. He even changed a lightbulb over the stove. A collapsible crib for a 2 year old and a collapsible cot for a 6 year old were provided at no extra charge, complete with linens.

Downsides are very few: Third bedroom is small -- just big enough for twin beds and a wardrobe. There is no dishwasher, and the kitchen sink is small. Mattresses could be more comfortable.

The lift is just big enough for a stroller, but the stairs worked fine for the rest of our party.

I would highly recommend this apartment.

Wonderful Apartment for large family

We spent a week with our 4 teenaged and twenty-something children. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It was fairly well equipped and everything worked well, The location was perfect for getting to the metro, grocery stores and small shops as well as restaurants. The office downstairs was usually staffed with friendly, helpful people. Claudia was so wonderful. She helped us with information, renting a car, getting a taxi to the airport, etc and always with a smile! This was the best of several apartments we have rented in European cities and Barcelona was magnific!

Awesome Place

This was our first time in Spain and we found this location to be perfect. Away from the hustle and bustle of the La Rambla district and the Gothic Quarter, but still accessible to all the great sites Barcelona has to offer. We got excellent advice from Frederic on where to go and what to see and everyone was so friendly. The apartment was fantastic with a great common area and lots of space to make you feel right at home. 5 stars!

We spent 5 nights in this apartment in September and could not have been happier with the accomodations. Everything was as described and pictured. Excellent location, very close to the Metro which made it easy to get around the city. We really enjoyed our visit to Barcelona. The apartment was great and air conditioned - important for July . It was very convenient to public transportation. Nice and quiet street at night. My only two negative comments are - the shower in the bathrroom is to small and water leaks out from under the shower curtain. Second, the air conditioning gets a little too cold in the middle of the night. The neighborhood is great for little grocery shops and bakeries. Would defiinitely rent this place again.

The apartment was wonderful and the description fit perfectls: very clean and well maintained, and everything was available (and working) including towels (freshly washed and clean), coffeemaker cutlery (...very old one though)... just to mention a few. The landlords are very uncomplicated and helpful. The house is situated within a ten minutes walk from the sagrada Familia and closely connected to metro stations and supermarkets. The pictures on the homepage are showing exactly what we have found there. In summary I would highly recommend this apartment to smaller groups (5-6 people) for sightseeing and business.

Right at the outset, let me say that we would highly recommend this place. My wife and I stayed for three nights with our two young adult children. The owner met us right on time and was very gracious in getting us settled in, This included a good orientation on location, metro, as well as local restaurants and services. The place is immediately likable: it is fronted with several windows and is very open, cheerful, and light. The common areas are very user friendly and open, so it is pleasant to have a meal, or sit and talk/watch the news, whether with just a couple or a larger group. The kitchen, bathrooms, all the bedrooms are perfectly nice and cheerful. The partially exposed brick is a nice touch. It is very quiet for sleeping. In addition, the location is really fantastic. You are within walking distance of everything, or a couple of metro stops away. In short, you are close but away from the fray. It is in a real neighborhood (sort of like a quiet part of the upper east or upper west sides of NYC), with good markets, bakeries, etc. The place was lovely; the owners very nice and helpful; and we would love to go back. If it existed in nyc (and was affordable), we would move back to manhattan!

Fabulous and comfortable

We could not have enjoyed or been more comfortable in the apartment. It was spacious, well-equipped, clean, and centrally located. Sagrada Famillia was at the next metro stop and is a must-see. There are several bakeries and markets with a block or two which makes it easy to have meals in the apartment. We had only three people staying in the apartment, but thought it would easily accommodate up to 6 or even 8 people if the living room sofa bed is used. We were able to see many areas of Barcelona easily, using the apartment as our base. The staff of BCN apartments was very helpful and hospitable. We highly recommended the Sant Pau apartments for a stay in beautiful Barcelona -- certainly hope to return ourselves before too long!!
