Perfect Location

The description of this property is very accurate and we were not disappointed. The owner provides an excellent booking and follow up service.
It's main selling point is the wonderful view from the balcony, of the marina, fort and old town. The flat is well equiped, clean and quiet. Ideal for 2 but snug for 4.
With the train station 3minutes walk, sightseeing up and down the coast is no problem. Cannes, Monaco and Nice all being within easy reach.
However, Antibes can provide a beach, daily market, walks, history and excellent food so sightseeing is optional. But be prepared for the cost of eating out!
We would certainly recommend this apartment to a friend and felt it was an ideal location for our first visit to the Cote d'Azur.

Great apartment with everything you could need

In terms of location, the apartment is 5-10 minutes from the old town of Antibes if you're walking along the seafron or through the streets. It's a similar distance if walking through the streets. Proximity to the train station is excellent, it being 1 minute away! There are some restaurants and bars around the apartment, but we tended to eat in the old town as we preferred the atmosphere there. There is a reasonable supermarket (Casino) 5 minutes away, but if you want a bigger supermarket (another Casino), you do need to drive there - it's about 10-15 minutes in the car.

The apartment was perfect for 2 people; any more and it would start to become a little tight for space. There are 2 bunk beds that fold down but I would think they were more appropriate for children rather than adults. The apartment was in immmaculate condition: the little galley kitchen had everything you could need, including a microwave. The living room had a TV & sound system, as well as a laptop with internet access - perfect. The bathroom even had a washing machine if you needed it. Our favourite part was the balcony which overlooked the port - we had breakfasts and dinners there.

The owner was very helpful: he made sure to meet us and show us around despite our late arrival. If there were any problems (we couldn't find a bottle opener), he attended to it promptly. He would check in regularly to make sure all was ok with the apartment, and that we were happy.

There was some confusion and lack of clarity on the administrative side of things at the end of the stay, but both parties were able to resolve the issue in a friendly manner.

Overall, I would recommend this property without a doubt - it's a real find, and made more so by the attentiveness and concern of the owner.

A very good appartment with a cracking veiw over the marina. The location is excellent with a five minute walk to the centre of the old town and beach. Train and bus links are also at your doorstep for trips further afield.
The accomodation is clean, modern and comfortable with a good air conditioning system and a balcony to have a glass of wine and enjoy the veiw.
The service was very good from start to finish, with help available whenever you need it.
The free telephone service as well as the laptop and internet service was a godsend to keep our teenage daughter in touch with her friends.
Overall we thought the appartment is very good quality.

Our stay was fantistic in June 2009. The location is just near the train station, which makes for easy travel along the coast. Sten even met us and helped carry the luggage. The apartment is actually even better than the photos on-line indicate. It has a great view, is near many restaurants, quiet, and plenty of space. We really enjoyed out visit and recommend this apartment to any travelers.

apartment central in port vauban ,
i have been there with 2 x 14 year old girls and a 10 year old boy. even for 4 people the apartment is real good place for starting trips all over antibes and the surroundings. the landlord ,speaking 4 languages, is very helpful at any time,
wonderful view over the port with the old fort on top.

high standard of it, hi-fi ,flat-tv and kitchen equipment.
aircoin and the childrens favorite :electrical rollershutter :-)
new furniture from bo concept und ikea
small bathroom, but absolutely every thing inside

alltogether this landlord is the owner of an beautiful old sailing ship. and the apartment has the same clever use of space. so for me as an single daddy it was easy to stay with 3 children. so children and i decided to go there again.

it , hi-fi , flat-tv und kuechenaussttatung modernster standard.

My wife and I travel a lot! And one thing we are stiflers about is cleanliness and of course value for money. This Apartment was all that we could have expected, in fact we felt so comfortable in the environment of the apartment we decided to stay an additional 3 weeks.

Within 15 minutes I was able to open my portable office and get to my emails and business on exceptionally fast 5+ meg down internet tested, and phone calls to most countries in the world for free.

For those that watch TV the flatscreen is big enough for all and the washing machine and kitchen provides for all the additional basics you may need. We found the space for two to be perfect for the length of time we stayed. I'm not quite sure however how the French manage to squeeze a family in this size apartment. However they do! Beds for 5. Master bed was very comfortable.

The Property owner Sten was extremely helpful and we appreciated all the advice and assistance he afforded us.

The pictures describe the rest, centrally located opposite the railway station etc etc, view of the port etc Pictures of the Port don't quite do the expansive view justice.

NO Complaints at all.

A very nice place to stay - we really enjoyed it very much. Great panoramic view. It is clean and bright, has everything you need.Nice furniture and interior design. Proximity to train station is another plus. The landlord and his wife are wonderful people - very friendly and helpful. Our children (3 and 5 years old) liked that place very much.

Our holiday in Antibes

Review Submitted: September 15, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We stayed in the apartment for 5 days in early September, and had a fabulous week. Sten and his colleague Benjie who look after the apartment and the paperwork could not have been more helpful - Sten met us personally at the rail station and even helped to carry the cases! The apartment is only a two minute walk from the station, which worried us at first but in practice is actually very helpful if you decide to travel around by train as we did. The station (and therefore the apartment) is in a nice part of town.
The apartment is nicely furnished - there were two of us and it was a reasonable size, although more room to put the cases would have been helpful.
The balcony is wonderful, with an excellent view over the harbour.
We recommend staying here - and we know that Sten would do all he could to make your stay enjoyable, comfortable and hassle free.

This would be a perfect getaway for 2 udults and 1 or 2(todlers)A bit uncomfortable for 4.A wash basin in the WC would better than the space taken for the 5th bed in the entrance.A folding bed would instead be ideal. The sleeping sofa for 2 tall teenagers was a bit of a problem. On the whole we enjoyed the evenings on the balcony and nearby restuarants, walks to the old town and amneties nearby and coffe shop across the road for breakfast, not having to use the car all the time. What one needed was there,(bodum coffee maker) and in good condition kitchen ware for light meals at home. The apt.house was quiet and clean and area seemed quite safe.Having visited a lot of holiday apartments in the past we agreed this one was among our favourites and would be worth visiting again (at least for us udults). The brightness and friendly furnishings made the place homely.Air conditioning a big relief although those sitting at the balcony suffered the hot air from the fan blowing directly at those sitting outside.Place would be ideal also for a autumn getaway..The railway station so near made it easier to decide whether to leave the car at home or not for day trips since parking is problematic in high season.
