We also have a One Bedroom condo available during the month of February in this same complex if this one is not available.

What makes this condo unique
We have been going to Maui and spending time at the Maui Sunset for the last 11 years and decided to finally purchase here as we have enjoyed our time here so much. The sun and ocean just helps a person to sit back and relax.
Maui Sunset has a lot of beautiful grass areas which are great for kids to play. We enjoy sitting on the lanai and soaking up the sun and the views of the ocean and Mt. Haleakala on a clear day.

Wonderful location and view!
Our stay was from February 14-26, and to summarize, it was fantastic. The condo was in a wonderful location with easy access to all parts of the island. The photos of the accommodations truly reflected the condition of the place. Everything was neat and clean. Thanks so much for all the “extras” such as cooler, beach chairs, boogie board. The view was wonderful and many evenings were spent on the lanai watching the sunset. The facility in general is kept in great condition. We went down to the pool every day and used the shuffleboard and tennis courts too. The equipment for all the facilities was good quality and always available. The BBQ's were kept very clean and were fun to use since we got to meet lots of folks from all over the place. The beds were very comfortable, the kids liked the bunk beds and the ceiling fans kept us cool so we didn't need the air conditioner. There were five of us in the condo including a grandmother, and it was very comfortable. We did not go in the water at the beach since the waves do not crash there and there seems to be lots of coral and rock in the water. However, there are great beaches (and snorkeling) just a few minutes drive to the south. We loved our stay and did not want to go home. If we ever go again, we would definitely have this location and unit as our first choice.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is conveniently located near beaches, stores, & farmer's markets, but still in a quiet area. We appreciated having a kitchen and laundry facilities. Our family of 5 had plenty of room. The views from this unit's lanai are wonderful, even better than the property listing shows.

Great Family Condo!!!
We have just returned from 11 wonderful days on Maui at the Maui Sunset. This was our 2nd trip to the Maui Sunset and we will return. This 2 bedroom condo was great for 3 adults and 2 children, plenty of room without getting in each others way. The one thing that really makes a difference when using VRBO is the Beds!!!! Uncomfortable bedding can ruin a trip like nothing else so I am happy to report that all beds in this unit were comfortable with new high quality sheets etc. The unit is furnished with everything that you need, and has lots of the extra's (beach chairs, cooler, sand toys) that save you a few bucks while you are there. My wife and I got out for dinner one night and would highly recomend Izakaya Matsu at the Azeka place strip mall (5 minute walk) It is not a fancy restaurant by any stretch but if you like Japanase Tapas you will like this place. Mary-Anne was great to deal with as was the staff at the Maui Sunset.

Great Condo Great Location
Our family had a wonderful stay here. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms were just the right size for us and having a full kitchen gave us lots of options for meals. The condo is clean and organized. The grounds are beautiful.

Great Vacation
Location of condo was great we had a great vacation. Pool area and grounds were great for my 18 month old grandson. Slept 5 adults and one child comfortably. Only negative was that the dryer does not work.There where instructions to only put two beach towels in at a time. We put in less and none of our clothes dried without at least 4 cycles. We finally gave up and had to dry them on the lanai.With a little one especially we needed a better dryer. But great overall!

Perfect home base for 10 days in Maui
Maui Sunset was a perfect home base for our stay in Maui.
Close to everything (restaurants, groceries, beaches) with a nice pool and amazing lawn in the middle. Also the BBQs which are cleaned daily are a plus.
The condo provides plenty of room and a beautiful lanai, certainly enough for the 4 of us (couple with two Kindergarden kids). The cooler was helpful, so we're the sand toys. We missed the boogie boards and the umbrella, however not a big deal.
The owners were very quick and helpful in answering questions
We would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and will rent again if we come back to Kihei.

Great Property in a great location.
I've given this property 4 stars in comparison to other Kihei condos. After visiting several other condos for open house showings in the area, It became clear that this condo is a cut above most others.
The unit is in the middle of the building in a quiet location. It has an excellent view of the ocean while being protected from the strong South Maui winds. The kitchen is well equipped with a new stove and all you'll need for making dinners. There are also free gas grills in the grass between the condos. The balcony has a newer set of furniture and seating for 6+. The couches and seating in the living room were comfortable and clean. All the appliances were in good working order. The cooler came in handy for carrying around drinks and snacks. The bedrooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. Having two bathrooms and places to shower makes it really convenient.
The unit is very clean and well kept. The bedding, linens, towels etc all smelled fresh and clean.
The condo complex has a clean well maintained pool which includes a jacuzzi. The grounds are manicured daily and were the nicest in the area.
The condo met or exceeded my expectations in all ways. The beach towels, cooler, etc all helped us enjoy our stay.
The local area around the condo includes grocery stores, restaurants, etc. However, the immediate area is quiet and uncrowded.
The beach at the condo is nice for walking and enjoying sunsets. There is reef in the water and other beaches in the area are more suited to swimming.
I would rent again and suggest thiscondo to our friends.

An excellent place for a family
My wife and I had stayed at Maui Sunset prior to having children in a different condo (1 bedroom). We returned to Maui Sunset with our two children (7&9) along with my parents. This condo was perfect for us. Once we saw the bunk beds we knew that it was a better solution compared to using a pullout couch in the living area that most other two bedroom units have available. The kitchen was great for making our own meals and the view is terrific :) Thanks and we hope to be back soon. This was my parents first visit and they loved it!
