The property, situated on a ½ mile long private beach, offers among the best best views at Glitter Bay. Every bedrooms and balcony has breathtaking panoramic views of the Caribbean. Set among extensive landscaped gardens, this apartment is newly renovated combining a unique Bajan flair with all modern comforts, including a new granite built-in kitchen with all stainless appliances, new marble/coral bathrooms with English fixtures,air conditioning throughout, cable plasma TV /DVD, wireless broadband service and more. All three bedrooms (master bed on first floor & 2 additional bedrooms on the second floor) have private, en-suite bathrooms and private patios with built-in seating and sea views. I am a physician-scientist and have been conducting research studies in Barbados for many years. We live in Boston and also spend long periods of time in Barbados.

Why Owner Janina Galler chose Porters

We watched this property being built and were among its earliest owners. The beautiful location and sea views, the expansive landscaped grounds (where our daughters chased pigeons) , the friendly staff and proximity to Bridgetown made this an ideal property for us. Our daughters named the apartment 'Golden Sunsets' because of the breathtaking golden, red and lilac sunsets that we celebrate daily during our visits to the island. We consider 'Golden Sunsets' our home and hope you will enjoy the premises as much as we do!

What makes this condo unique

Our apartment is very spacious and one of the largest units at Glitter Bay. The apartment is a Penthouse and has expansive ocean views from all balconies. Our views are among the best at Glitter Bay, because of the property location near the sea, the sea), dining and three bedroom patios that all face the sea and have unencumbered views of the water. Most important, 'Golden Sunsets' is our home and provides the comforts of living in a modern home with all of the amenities of a special resort environment offered by The Glitter Bay Estate.

Best Vacation Ever

Our family of 5 spent spent 2 weeks at Golden Sunsets, and we are already looking forward to our return visit. My kids loved the beach right at your doorsetp, the large double pool (with a separate pool for the little ones) and the new huge tv/dvd. My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful setting, the spacious and tastefully appointed apartment, the quiet dinners on our balcony at sunset, and the great staff. This was a magical vacation

Lovely Holiday in Glitter Bay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glitter Bay. The apartment 304 was a great size - very spacious and perfect for our party of 5 (2 couples and 1 baby). The Maid service was a great touch - Laurel looked after us well and even did some babysitting for us one evening. The mod cons such as wireless internet and very effective air con in all rooms were great really added to the enjoyment of our holiday. We had fantastic weather and enjoyed spending our time at the wonderful beach. The facilities were excellent for a self catering apartment which had many of the advantages of a hotel (e.g. fresh beach towels, snack bar, security, pool etc).

We hope to return again next year.

Great time at Glitter Bay

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at unit 304 from June 14- 24. The view was lovely and the ocean couldn't have been nicer for a lazy sea bather like myself. Beverly and Chantelle met us on Sunday and made us feel very welcome as we moved in, and fed us a fresh and tasty chicken salad. Chantelle could not have been more helpful as she took care of us during our stay. The accomodations were in very good condition and everything was at least as good as it had been described. We want to thank you and the entire staff for what has been a most relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
