From Ekaterina B. (Russia), from the 01st to 15th September 2006 - 2 weeks : 'The apartment is very well located in the old town of Antibes within less than 5-minutes’ walk to the beach, market, shops and the railway station. Although it is next to the restaurant area, thanks to its situation in a quite side street you don’t really hear a lot of noise. The apartment is very clean and all the kitchen equipment is in a very good condition. The owner made us feel very welcome and most kindly offered to take us from and to the Nice airport. Overall, we spent wonderful two weeks in this apartment in September and would surely recommend it.'
Mr. and Mrs. Nahid M. (14/07/2007) - United States - 2 weeks. Our family of four stayed here in early June. We were all delighted with Antibes as our base. The apartment was excellent and had everything we needed in it. Our 7 year old loved La Gravette beach just a very short walk away.

Great home, Wonderful host

The house was very much as we expected. Tidy, fully furnished and a great location.

Close to the beach and within the city walls, the apartment was in the perfect location. Patrick (the owner) was very helpful in helping us to and from the train station, which was within walking distance - he made the stay very easy.

We brought 3 kids - aged 7, 3 and 2 - and while we had no issues, the house has spiral stairs (which were challenging for the little ones) and some little drops that made us nervous. In the end, all went well.

Because the apartment is narrow and with natural light only on the front side windows or sky lights, the apartment could feel a little tight - but as we were out of the house 12 hours of the day out at the beach, walking around the city or otherwise, it was not an issue.

The fully functional kitchen was great as it allowed us to prepare a big breakfast and a few snacks for the day. Generally, we ate dinners out - there were many restaurants within a short walk.

Tips for future renters:
The beach nearby is one of the smaller ones but has the most character, there are others just a little further. We ended up walking to the beach in Juan Les Pins (there is a little shuttle train) as the beaches were sandier and a little more spread out.

Try the pizza just a couple of doors down - very good - all the locals line up for it (always a good sign)

We really enjoyed staying at Patrick's house, it was a very nice, clean, and lovely townhouse. Patrick was very helpful, and we could always reach him if we had questions. We would definitely book the house next year, Thanks Patrick!

Me and my family stayed here for 10 days and had a perfect vacation. This town house is located inside the old town of Antibes and it is close to everything that you need, beaches, shops and restaurants. I can really recommend this to everybody.

City appartment in Antibes

Partyof5 Bergen, Norway
Review Submitted: May 4, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
I had the pleasure of renting this appartment spring 2009.
The appartment comprises of a modern urbanized flat and fits perfect for anyone that would like to stay in a cityscape. Placed just metres from the main streets of old Antibes and the yacht harbor Port Vauban and the city beach, all you need is within reach. We stayed 5 adults and had everyting we needed in the appartment.

The owner is trustable and supported all our needs before and during our stay.

I would recommend this appartment to anyone,

Bien Sur.

Fantastic Stay!

We stayed an extra week in Sept 08 because we found the location and space suited our family of 5 perfectly. Old Antibes is fabulous, a lovely french town full of life and character. Wonderful markets, cafes, bars and museums.

The house itself is bright, clean, well equipped, very comfortable and centrally located. Shops close at hand, wonderful restaurants, beaches and the yachts are amazing. the train and bus services are close and efficient (no car needed).

The owner is very helpful and available at anytime (speaks english with a terrible french accent).

Great place to spend a week relaxing enjoying fench culture. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to be in the heart of Antibes.

We will come again.

A wonderful experience.

Bucksbeach Bucklands Beach, Auckland, New Zealand
Review Submitted: October 21, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
When you travel from afar, as we did coming from New Zealand, you are always wondering will this property live up to its description? It does! In fact, once you get used to the narrow nature of the building, dictated by the age of the village building, which has a very very long heritage, then you appreciate the careful design and development which makes this home a wonderful place to be.
The location of the property within the old town walls gives your stay a sense of being a part of history. Something that was important to us as we were staying for 3 weeks. The facilities within the apartment were excellent with modern appliances and the place was spotlessly clean for when we arrived.
We have recommended that the home is also suitable for +55 age group. This is because we fit within that age bracket and we had no problems at all with the stairs necessary to ensure the home makes the most of the space it has available.
The owners of the property are a wonderful friendly family with good English who are happy to assist and answer queries on the area. Would we return? Tomorrow, if we had the chance!
Location location location. Both Antibes and this home, meet every criteria we had for exploring and enjoying a most magnificent part of the world. The bonus, making new friends with a delightful family with whom we will maintain contact.

Perfect ! Fabulous location, a great place to stay

Our family of 4 (2 kids of 10-12) have just spent an unforgettable and sunny week in Old Antibes (all Provence was cloudy and rainy at that time) and wish it could have been a month (if the dollar ever recovers we would love to go back for a longer stay).

The house was everything we expected. It is very charming, nicely renovated, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with most anything you could need (recent domestic appliances). It is fully furnished with all the 'extras', like HI-FI, cable Tv, wide LCD TV and WIFI Internet connection.

It is perfectly located in old town : everything we wanted was close at hand (shops, restaurants, museums, beach, etc.). The bus and SNCF stations are all within easy walking distance of the house, and we didn't miss not having a car (parking in Antibes wasn't easy and cheap !).

Once again, thank you for providing such a great house. We definitely recommend your house to spend relaxing holiday.
