I've previously stayed in hotels and apartments, all in the 5th, 6th, & 7th arr. This time I wanted to experience a different part of Paris. The location of this very comfortable apartment is ideal - on the very trendy and non-touristy Rue des Martyrs at the foot of Montmartre (Sacre Coeur is visible from the cafes on the Rue), and with easy access to several Metro stations. Rue des Martyrs is loaded with great cafes (we loved Terra Corsa and Smiley's), markets, and shops. It was wonderful to sit in one of the cafes and watch the comings and goings of the people who live in the area, which includes many families with children and young professionals. The apartment is on the top (7th) floor (with a tiny lift) of a beautiful building overlooking a leafy courtyard, and has views to the Opera, Pantheon, & Pompadou Centre. I was there with my son & daughter-in-law and found it ideal for the three of us (four adults could easily stay but the apartment is really too small for more than that). The photos do justice to the actual apartment although the rooms are a bit smaller than the pictures show (especially the bedroom and WC). Nevertheless, it was the perfect place to stay, and the price was right. SO much more for your money than even a one- or two-star Paris hotel, plus all the convenience of your own kitchen, lounge space, and washing machine. Didier was very responsive and helpful. I loved finding and enjoying a new area of this magical city, and highly recommend this apartment for your Paris visit!

My husband and I spent three lovely nights in the apartment in June 2011. It was such a luxury to have an apartment rather than stay in a hotel room - we enjoyed leisurly coffee and pastry in the mornings and wine and cheese in the afternoons. It is appointed with everything you might need, and also very conveniently located - to the main sites, the metro, bakery grocery store. And so nicely decorated, we really got a sense of Parisian chic. Highly recommended - we only wish we had more time!

Wir genossen den fantastischen Ausblick über Paris (Pathenon, Opera Garnier, Sorbonne, Centre Pompidou, ...) vom 7.Stock!
Die Wohnung ist über einen kleinen (!) Lift gut erreichbar;
ist gut gepflegt, äußerst nett und zweckmäßig eingerichtet: Nespresso-Maschine!

Die Rue Matyrs ist eine sehr gepflegte Straße mit ansprechenden Geschäften: Bäckereien, Käsegeschäfte, Fleischereien, Marmeladegeschäft,...

Positiv ist die Nähe (200 m) zur Metro-Station Notre-Dame-de-Lorette zu bewerten: dadurch sind alle Stadtteile von Paris schnell erreichbar.

Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, immer für Fragen per Telefon bzw. Email erreichbar gewesen!
FAZIT: Wir können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!!!!

Bei optimalen Wetter verbrachten wir (4 Erwachsene) eine wunderschöne Woche in der komfortablen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung. Die Wohnlage im absolut ruhigen Innenhof, wunderbaren Ausblick über Paris, guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten und zu Fuß erreichbaren Hauptbahnhof konnte gar nicht besser sein.
Die Wohnung war perfekt ausgestattet, neuwertig und sehr gepflegt. Die Betten und auch die beiden ausziehbaren Ledercouches waren äußerst bequem.
Nach anstrengenden Besichtigungstouren konnten wir uns in dieser Wohnung gut erholen und relaxen.
Wir werden diese Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
