We have had a very happy holiday in this great villa. Comfortable, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Restaurants and swings for the children are a 5 minute walk away to the village square, and a 5 minute walk also to the tram station. The smaller local beach is also a 5 minute walk away - set in a bay so felt very safe with the children there. The larger beach at El Campello took us 10 minutes in the car or is also easily accessed by tram. This is the livelier beach with shops, restaurants, bars, a mile long promenade - and we were told the water here has a Blue Flag EU rating, so couldn't be any cleaner.

So much enjoyment to be had in this seaside town, but equally enjoyable to come home to this beautiful villa with its creature comforts and stunning views of the Med sea from the fabulous terrace.

Look no further - highly recommend to all and we have already booked it again for next year!

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to rent.

We were two sets of grand parents with one child each, a 4yr old and 6yr old.We arrived at Casa Verde Villa after being met at the Airport by our driver Dave who was recommended as some one local who could do a transfer to and from the airport.. He took us to the car and on the way to the villa took us to a large supermarket to stock up on what we might need for the start of our holiday. On arriving at the villa, he opened up and we were greeted with a wonderful spacious and homely looking holiday home with wonderful sea view from the verandah at the front of the villa. The children were in the pool before we could even get unpacked!! There was lots of outdoor areas to sit and relax in, either the shade or the sun. We had our breakfast outside by the pool every morning, the children loved it. Not that we wanted to watch a lot of TV, but the villa had SKY and a collection of DVDs. We were at the villa during the Jubilee Celebrations so we had our own Jubilee Party and we were able to watch the Jubilee Celebrations and Concert on the television.
The villa is in a quite area but only 5-10 min (depending on your stride) walk to the local square where there were a selection of restaurants and a couple of bars. We ate at 3 of the restaurants during our stay and the pricing in each was very reasonable. In the car free square there was a wonderful children's play area which could be seen from any of the outside seating areas of the restaurants so the children were able to play safely and we were able to keep a watch on them.
A couple of minutes further walk from the square is a local supermarket where you can get essentials and they have fresh bread every day. The stop for the Tram Train which runs along the coast is across the road from the supermarket.. You can get to El Campello, Alicante one way and Benidorm and other destinations the other way. Again, the ticket prices were very reasonable (Benidorm was 4Euros return) and theTrams had easy to use ticket machines on them to buy your tickets.(children under 6 are free)
Again a 5-10 mins walk from villa and near to the square, is a small cove which has a couple of restaurants. One as you walk down to it the other set up in the rocky area reached by a pathway and steps. We spent a little time on the beach area but the beaches were nicer in El Campello. (A couple of stops on the Tram Train).
Our week went by very quickly. The children loved every moment.
Would definitely visit again.

Arrived with family and friends for a 10 day stay. Having not stayed in this location before was not sure what to expect. We were not disappointed !!! The villa was great with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing holiday.

The view from the villa overlooking the sea was amazing, sitting relaxing early mornings on the veranda looking out or where we spent many an evening sitting at the dining area chatting with a glass of wine !!!........what more can you wish for.

The pool area was well equipped with plenty of sun loungers and al fresco dining, quite a little sun trap if you love the sun like us.

Having not stayed before and reading the reviews with regards to getting out and about was not sure what to expect as mixed opinions needing car etc.

The tram line is about a 5 min walk from the villa and arrives every 30 mins to either Alicante or as far up the coast to Denia. A couple of euros will get you into Allicante, we took a day out and went on the tram to Denia, worth a visit. There are also other lovely towns and villages along the way to stop off and have a look at.

There is a supermarket close by within walking distance which does cater for most things, there also plenty of supermarkets in El Campello just a couple of stops along the tram line.

The local square, again a 5 min walk from the villa has a selection of bars and places to eat. We found everyone really friendly and certainly made a few friends.

Jackie recommended Martin and Glynis who picked our party up from the airport, they were really lovely people and offered their transport services throughout our stay should we have needed them.

Overall the villa was perfect, the location perfect, and the village perfect, Jackie was always reachable should we have needed her, we will be back next year.

Jackie made us very welcome on our arrival and even took the time to show us to the local supermarket.

The villa is lovely and has everything you need for a perfect family holiday. We hired a car for our stay and this was very useful for travelling around the area, but you could equally just chill out at the villa.

The local bar and resturants are excellent and well worth a visit (wish we had visited at the start of our stay as they are much better value than eating out in Alicante (plus you can have a few drinks and walk back!).

If you wish to stock up at a supermarket I would reccomend the Carrefour at San Joan that has a fantistic fresh fish counter and bakery.

Would not hesitate to reccomend.

We went on holiday with our 4 children and the villa was ideal. Nice and spacious with a lovely terrace where we spent most of our evenings.

It is nice and clean and has everything you would need. It is a homely traditional family villa.

The air con in the bedrooms was a god send!!

The kids loved the pool and it was great having sky TV with the kids channels and DVD player to keep them entertained when they decided were too hot or fed up of the pool.

The little garden was also nice for the kids to potter around in and they loved getting the Figs to eat on the trees.

Th location is ideal and we didnt need a car as the Tram is only a short walk and very cheap to use. The town itself is very quiet with a few restaurants and a small park, but that was ideal for us.

The owners were very helpful and gave us all of the info we needed before we travelled and helped us to arrange transfers.

We were greeted by Jackies cousin Peter, very friendly and helpful.

The villa was ab fab, fantastic view, well equipped and very well furnished.

Beds were also very comfortable (not always the case when you go away).

The pool is fantasic to cool off, and surrounding gardens are full of beautiful cacti. Just booked for next year.
