In a building of character, from early 19th century, located in the historical centre of Beaune, apartment fully renovated on the first floor with: living room, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen opening on a 9 sqm covered terrace, bathroom separated from the WC. 3 stars listed apartment. Covered, private parking.

Wonderful stay in Beaune in a perfect apartment!

My husband and I and another couple stayed at Joce's apartment in Beaune in April 2011 for 4 nights. There was plenty of space for the four of us....it has 2 separate bedrooms, a large living dining space, good-sized kitchen, plus a terrace off the kitchen. It had all the charm we envisioned for an apartment in a small French town, with exposed beams, tall ceilings and windows and a winding stone staircase. The kitchen was more than well-equipped, which was great when we felt like having a meal at home. The terrace was wonderful to have breakfast on and we enjoyed our welcome bottle of wine. Beaune is the perfect location if you're looking for a charming town in Burgundy surrounded by vineyards. We did a wine tour by a friend of Joce's (Francois) which was wonderful! Also rented bicycles and rode through the vineyards and little towns south of Beaune. Joce gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants, and the market in town on Saturday mornings is amazing! The Wifi was also very nice to have. The apartment is located in a wonderful area of town....walking distance to everything. Normally we like to see new places after a trip, but this is one spot that we would come back to in a heartbeat. The hostess is warm, wonderful and makes your stay that much better! Cannot wait to come back someday. Would recommend this apartment for couples or a family and will certainly be recommending to our own friends and family.

Perfect Spot

We rented this lovely apartment for a weekend stay in Beaune. The location was spot on being walking distance to the town, and parking was provided in an underground car park a short distance away. The apartment is very well equipped and the provision of the lovely wine and bread to start our break was very welcome. Both Joce and Yan were lovely hosts and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their apartments.

The Hoopman Vacation

This is the best rental home we have stayed in from all of our travels.
Jocelyn made this so easy from use of PayPal, a park debit card for use of the garage for our rental car, and especislly meeting us on the day of our arrival. Joce was so flexible with our early arrival by suggesting an easy to get to bistro to a very complete orientation of the apartment. She demonstrated use of the stove top/oven, cook pan handle clips, how to use the wash machine, provided advice on safety with all key locks, local emergency telephone numbers, how to reach her any time!. It truly was perfect because of her and everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, with essential spices, bread, butter, a beautiful bottle of regional wine: this is Burgundy after all. Joce made this all so beautiful for my husband and myself, as we toured the area and enjoyed the region. While I must do my best to recommend this with all of the highest respect, I really want to keep this a secret, for our next stay with Joce's rental properties. She is the BEST.

Our Second Home

Le Beaune Rousseau was our cozy hideaway in the paradise known as Beaune. We were lucky to have a month here to get to know the town, some of its many friendly people, fabulous shops, magnificent architecture and sites. Joce and Yannick are the best of people and made us so welcome. The apartment's location couldn't be better. It was so comfortably furnished, the kitchen well-equipped, as we loved shopping the markets and cooking our own meals, and we felt completely at home. In fact, we miss it all tremendously! We hope to be back and see you again and again, Joce! Many, many thanks for our most perfect holiday.

We spent the first five days of a 10 day trip to France in Beaune. We were thrilled with the rental and absolutely delighted with Joce's hospitality and charm. She welcomed us (and our three children, ages 12, 10 and 9) in person and escorted us to the flat, and then ensured our rental car was properly parked in the complimentary lot. Over the last three years we have traveled to Italy, Belgium and France, and Joce's flat topped the list of prior rentals. The pictures do not do the place justice ... it is charming, mixed with antiques and modern touches. It is clean and immaculate, and more than well stocked with linens, as well as life's simple pleasures, such as sugar, coffee, filters, napkins, paper towels, etc. And, we thoroughly enjoyed her gift, a complimentary, chilled bottle of White Burgandy on the patio, shortly after arriving! Joce and her accommodations rate 5 stars for us!

Super apartment - lovely holiday

The apartment was perfect - right in the centre of town and close to all amenities and attractions of Beaune. There are lots of great restaurants within easy strolling distance, and the hostess has a list of recommendations if you are unsure of where to start. We spent our holiday exploring the countryside of the Cote D'Or and tasting lots of delicious wines! The apartment was beautifully clean, had evrything we needed, and we ate every meal out on the terrace listening to the bells of the medieval town. The apartment is full of character - a stone spiral staircase in the hallway, exposed beams in the living area, lovely old windows. The hostess could not have been more helpful, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. wehope to come back soon (when we run out of wine).

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Beaune, une petite ville très agréable avec des restaurants et des caves qui valent le détour. L'appartement que nous avons loué était impeccable. Nous nous y sentions très bien. Quant aux propriétaires, ils étaient charmants; nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous recommandons l'endroit sans réserve.
