We stayed in Grooms cottage for our honeymoon last year and it was the most peaceful, romantic little place on earth. The cottage was very clean, there was food in the fridge for our arrival, plenty of fresh fluffy towels and robes in the bathroom, we had access to a private jetty overlooking the lake, use of the bbq there (which we greatly enjoyed whilst listening to the jazz boat on the lake), the woods were right outside the door so we ended up walking till our legs hurt! The main house was just a stones throw away if we needed anything, but the hosts kept very much to themsleves, as you would expect. Richard greeted us on our arrival and recommended some restaurants, etc, in the area. It is just big enough for two to cosy up and enjoy the tranquility. I would definately recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a romantic getaway, and have done to many already. We will certainly be revisiting in the future when we next get a break from the kids! :-)
