Lovely Easter Break

Adrian & Ruth Birmingham, UK
Review Submitted: April 20, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Description is spot on. Almost everything we could need was already supplied for us. Property is clean and well maintaned and Bernard and Monica are excellent hosts and are very helpful. As we arrived over easter many of the shops were shut when we arrived but they supplied us with the basics and even took us to the Supermarket the following day to stock up on supplies. The location is sombre with a beautiful cove right outside the front door more or less and a bar/cafe as well. Transport links to Alicante City, El Campello, Benidorm etc are supplied by a very efficent tram service which runs very regular upto just after 10pm at night so there is no need to hire a car out and there are plenty of things to see and do in each of those areas.

GREAT HOLIDAY

Patricia & Eamon Warrenpoint, Co. Down. N. Ireland
Review Submitted: November 4, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
My wife & I spent the last week in October 2009 in this house. As regards the facilities, layout, description etc they are exactly as described. The house was really clean and well presented and this along with the warm welcome helped us to settle in almost immediately. Bernard & Monica are next door but you can be assured of "your space". They are the neighbours everyone would like to have and customer service was definately 5 star-- nothing was too much bother. We have no hesitation in recommending this house to friends & family. Guadalest is well worth a visit and more locally the Jet Set bar/restaurant does good food. There is a good sandy beach very close by. The proximity of the tram meant that we didn't need a car. Grocery and other shopping was available courtesy of the tram and but if you want to travel further afield a car would be advisable. We have every intention of staying here again.

Very enjoyable 10 day holiday in lovely villa

Janave England
Review Submitted: October 2, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
My husband and I with two friends had a lovely holiday in Venta La Nuza. Bernard and Monica could not have been more helpful and friendly. The villa is very clean, well maintained and with everything we needed. The little sandy cove is very near as is the tram station enabling you to travel to other resorts with ease.
Good food in the Jet Set Bar and Restaurante Lanuza is a good choice for lunch.

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

Review Submitted: September 8, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
Bernard and Monica are excellent hosts and are very helpful.
The house is well decorated and of a high standard, very quiet and the sandy cove was beautiful.
Trams go all the way along the fantastic coast but if you want to go inland a car is necessary.
Excellent 15 days in august 2009.

Week in Venta La Nuza

Juanpe Glasgow Scotland
Review Submitted: July 16, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My husband, 2 children aged 9 and 4 and I had a lovely week in this property. Everything was perfect. The house was well furnished and spotlessly clean ( we felt that the pictures in this web sight don't do the property justice). Although the area itself doesn't have much in the way of shops, there is a tram 5 mins walk away which takes you to the other resorts with supermarkets, restaurants etc as well as Alicante itself. We really apreciated the satelite tv, numerous DVD's and books which the house had as well as buckets and spades etc for the children to use at the beach ( 2 mins walk away) The owners couldn't have been more helpful, stocking up the fridge for us when we arrived and making sure we had plenty of towels etc for our stay. A lovely quiet property with everything we needed.

Michal & Susie

Susie & Mick Glasgow, Scotland
Review Submitted: July 1, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Susie and myself spent 11 nights in Fenta Lanuza and throrougly enjoyed ourselves. Monica and Bernard are excellent hosts - welcoming, friendly and always available for advice. They were discreet and never at any time imposed themselves.
The house is well decorated and of a high standard and was spotless when we arrived. The patio at the back of the house is ideal for sunbathing and a spot of reading. The restaurants nearby are ok, but our preference was to take the tram into one of the bigger towns were the selection was far greater.
We used the tram most days and it is an excellent way to see that part of the country. Markets are held in various locations on different days and the food/produce was of good quality.
Probably the most picturesque town was Altea which has a lovely beach and a great variety of restaurants.
Overall, an excellent holiday and is suitable for couples and families with children who want a quiet location with the option of hiring a car or as we did using the excellent tram service. We would recommend this holiday to family/friends and to stay with Bernard & Monica.

A relaxing week in May

G and J Tyne and Wear
Review Submitted: May 31, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
The property was like a home from home, spotlesslly clean with a much appreciated welcome pack including fresh milk! The weather was lovely and we made a lot of use of the patio furniture. Venta la Nuza has a very central location between Benidorm and Alicante. We found El Campello, the nearest large town a good place for supplies and beach front dining. We had a car, and toured around the wonderful mountains and lakes and would highly recommend a trip to Guadalest and the boat trip on the solar powered boat. Bernard and Monica were very friendly and we would recommend this property, especially to those looking for an out of season relaxing stress free break.

We all had a lovely stay although it was only 5 days and it went too fast! The facilities are great and Monica and Bernard are very helpful. We have a 6 month old baby which was not a problem as the house is very well equipped for babies. The area is lovely and a very useful tram station near which can take you anywhere you wish to go along the coast. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will be visiting again.

have enjoyed an lovely holiday, the villa was just a home from home, very clean , everything provided, the little cove was very quiet and the beach lovely, the trams were very cheap , we went to alicante and all the way up to denia, we managed without a car, but if you want to go inland a car is necessary, monica and bernard very helpful but not pushy, we will be comeing again. next time to do some climbing.
