Large, interior designed, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, penthouse apartment sleeps 5.
A mere 3 minutes walk from the famous Puerto Banus, and the golden beaches of Marbella, lies the La Alcazaba development with it's lush well renowned tropical gardens. Nestled in the far corner away from the hustle and bustle of the pool is a very spacious well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (sleeps 5) top floor, corner apartment with a large terrace overlooking the treetops. The apartment has air conditioning and heating throughout along with an open plan living area, television with Sky, DVD and surround sound Hi-Fi system. fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. There are 4 large interconnecting pools, including one for children and babies. 2 on-site restaurants, an indoor health club, 24 hour security and reception. Private parking. Excellent shops and restaurants very close by, tennis club next door and more than 20 world renowned golf courses in the vicinity.

The comforts of home in a perfect location

We rented this apartment in December to escape the cold of London, and we were very pleased.
In contrast to many other places that we've stayed, this apartment has the feel of a place that has actually been lived in by the owners, with everything you'd need where you'd expect it. Everything is very well documented, down to restaurant recommendations and getting around. We had absolutely no complaints.
The master bed is very comfortable, something we often have had an issue with in other rentals. The kitchen is well equipped, modern and spacious. The sitting room sofas are very comfortable as well. We were feeling quite at home within an hour of arriving.
There is an El Corte Ingles (largest department store in Spain, including a hypermarket) a short walk away, so it was dead easy to take care of the shopping. Even in the low season, there were many restaurants and shops open and a short walk away in Puerto Banus. The beach is a mere 5 minute walk from the apartment, with a popular restaurant serving fantastic food on the beach right around the corner.
We did not bother hiring a car, and if you plan to stay in the area there is really no need. The driver recommended to take us from and to the airport was efficient and reliable as well.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending this apartment. We can think of no better endorsement than that we will definitely be going back!

A Home not a Rental!

A lovely spacious apartment set in the centre of Puerto Banus with all mod cons.The owners couldnt be helpful enough in making my stay a very enjoyable one.
The apartment has been beautifully refurbished with a fab kitchen and a lovely comfy bed.
Sitting out on the terrace overlooking the fragrant gardens with a glass of wine is a heavenly experience.
I really loved this apartment so much I am going to book it again asap.Definitely 5 stars.

A fabulous place for a holiday, the apartment was much better than expected with all the necessary facilities, well maintained,very clean and very comfortable - a truly wonderful place to relax. - the complex has wonderful staff, gardens, swimming pool and restaurants, which we used every day.
Puerto Banus is a wonderful area with many bars,restaurants and shops, a very chilled place to stroll around whatever time of the day, from day 1 of our holiday we had already decided that we would be coming back in 2013 as it was truly one of the best holidays we have ever had and hopefully we will have many more at Alczaba.

Lovely apartment with a great location

We had a lovely stay in the beautiful apartment. A lot of space and a lovely terrace with a great view over the garden. The kitchen was perfect with all the facilities you need and a little more. We hope we can come back sometime. :)

Summer Family Holiday in Puerto Banus

Just spent 12 greast nights at La Alcazaba
The complex whilst being old is in a fabulous position and the gardens and building exteriors are well kept.
Our apartment was very spacious,quiet and comfortable with a great new kitchen with all appliances(including Nespresso), a seperate washing machine and tumble dryer so you can return home with clean laundry(one for the ladies!)
There is satellite tv,dvd and full wifi(very useful for that ipad) and an iphone /ipod charger/speaker device
The terrace is lovely for lunch or dinner and it is a 5 minute walk to the hypermarket at Cortes Ingles or a vast array of restaurants so you really don't need a car
Bedrooms and bathrooms were acceptable but I understand are being upgraded shortly in keeping with the rest of the property
The cost saving for a family of four or more is significant versus the Melia Marbella Banus next door and have no hesistation in recommending this apartment,whatever the time of the year
Finally,the owners gave a very honest appraisal of their property before our visit,useful local information and helped source a reliable cleaning lady for our visit
You will not be disappointed

We have now completed the update of both bedrooms, all new beds, mattresses, finest linen, towels duvets, pillows etc. All exported from the UK. In particular the master bedroom has a fabulous bed from AndSoToBed with super comfy memory foam mattress with a soft topper. Absolutely Wonderful !!!

Apartment was very positive surprise even you told that it is nice. Beds were really good which is very important if you stay a longer time. Location, PERFECT! Garden was beautiful and pool area with the services really worked. If I come to Puerto BanusB again, this is the place where I want to stay : ) The information package what the owner sent us was more than practical and we used it a lot.

Can't believe that over a week has passed by already from our return home. Work has been absolutely crazy so I'm glad we had such a wonderful time at Alcazaba!
Anyway, thank you again for allowing us to book and enjoy your apartment. I would like to think that we could consider a return in the future, whether as the same group of girls or with my husband.
I hope we left everything in order and presume you have destroyed the cautionary deposit cheque.

this apartment lives up to the lovely photos of it.set in beautiful gardens it is clean modern and immaculate, very tastefully decorated, we enjoyed our stay and will be rebooking next year.
