There is ample storage in all bedrooms. The middle floor is an open-plan living/lounge with a fully-fitted kitchen and a separate utility room. All rooms have uninterrupted views over the Forth estuary towards the Isle of May and the Bass Rock.
Golfing info: There are around 30 golf courses in a 15 mile radius. ST ANDREWS: The seven golf courses managed by The Links Trust include the Old Course and the new Castle course that opened in 2008 are open to all, as are the golf practice centre and the three clubhouses. CRAIL: founded in 1786, is the 7th oldest golf club and has 2 x 18 hole courses (Balcomie and Craighead) as well as a driving range. KINGSBARNS: A magnificent 18 hole links that is one of the 3 courses hosting the annual Dunhill Links tournament on the European Tour. Other courses nearby include St Andrews Bay Resort which has 2 x 18 hole (Torrance and Devlin) and Lundin Links, Leven Links and Scotscraig, all Open Qualifying courses. ELIE: The course is unique in having a submarine periscope, salvaged from HMS Excalibur, located at the Starters Hut on the first tee. Only an hour or so away by car are: LADYBANK, CARNOUSTIE (a British Open venue) and GLENEAGLES which will host the 2014 Ryder Cup.
