We have had a very enjoyable holiday. The house is very well equipped and comfortable ; lots of space for everyone. This is a beautiful area of Belgium wich I am sure we will return to (Fam H. from York).
We have had a wonderful week at this house. We enjoyed the ambiance and all the quisty touches. The renovation has been done very sympathetically and it was a very comfortable stay (fam.A-S from London W).
This is a warm and welcoming house. We have been very comfortable. We liked the garden to play 'footie' in. The neighbours are friendly and kind (Lucy and Georgina).

Wonderful and relaxing stay!

We stayed in this absolutely beautiful and relaxing home for one week and had a wonderful time. The home is furnished with very comfortable furniture and the bathrooms are wonderful and come with soft towels. My husband and I ended up cooking more that we had the two weeks prior while on vacation in Bruges since the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possible need at this house. Our favorite thing to do after we cooked breakfast or dinner was to enjoy the big overstuffed red couches and have a small fire in the fireplace. The back yard has a wonderful patio area where we spent some quality time trying the different Belgium beers that you can't find in California.

Raphael and Elisabeth were very helpful and we enjoyed some nice quality time with them both and look forward to seeing them both again next April. We are trying to figure out how we can stay in this area again on our next vacation. There are many places to see and you are very close to Luxembourg, Dinant and Durbuy. We also went to the ruins or Orval and bought some very yummy beer cheese.

We would highly recommend this home for a nice and relaxing vacation!

Owner's Response: You are welcome !
Away from home, but at home !

Christmas Holidays

Harrie and family Netherlands
Review Submitted: January 2, 2009 Date of Stay: December 2008
We were here during Christmas Holidays with our family. It was a great time and we enjoyed being in this very nice property. With lots of room and a nice fireplace, a large, well uitilized kitchen we had the perfect family Christmas. The vacinity of the small village Eprave is well suited for small trekking tours. Eprave itself is a quit place with no facilties but the town of Rochefort is only 6 km away and has all the stores and malls you need.

A secret paradise for walkers and gourmets

Enjoy Belgium's wonderful beers, hams and sausages, savour fine restaurants.
Take the hiking guide and explore the stunning scenery, the country house is surrounded by precious open land and a belt of forests, it is a place where the scent of resin hangs in the air.
It is also possible to do horse riding and rent mountain bikes in the neighbourhood.
Gaze in admiration at the beautiful and impressive caves of Han-sur-Lesse, an underground wonderworld, only 1 mile from the house.
The house is immaculate and everything one could possibly need is provided.
We wouldn't change or add anything - comfortable beds, excellent showers and baths, well lits, books, dvd, dishwasher.... and a very pleasant open fire-place in the living room.
A wonderfully warm and romantic stay - You will wish you could stay longer!

Excellent location, excellent house!

We spent a week in August at this house. First impressions were excellent. We were a group of 6 adults, a 16 month old and 5 month old baby. The website provides good pictures of the property. Eprave is fairly small village, but the local town of Rochefort (2 mins by car) provides everything you will need. The house also has everything you will need, including high chairs and cots for babies. The house was immaculate when we arrived. What we enjoyed was being able to have seperate sections of the house to ourselves! The owner visted us after we had arrived and was able to provide details of local attractions etc.. We visited Brussels (1 hr by car), Grotte de han (5 mins by car), La Roche en Ardenne (45 mins by car), there are lots of local walks as well. I cannot speak highly enough of this property and would recommend it to anyone.

Was will man mehr?
