This Perigord farm from the 18th century is located in a small hamlet entirely reserved for you. Recently restored, this is an ideal rental for 2 families or 1 large family. The view of the Laurence Valley is unobstructed and descends all the way to Montignac (Lascaux). Situated in the middle of 9 hectares of woods for you to explore, the house is very peaceful. The pool (11x5 m) with salt hydrolysis is secure. There are many terraces on each building, and some are shaded by large hundred-year-old trees. Garden furniture (tables, chairs, armchairs, lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, barbecue) is available.
Located on the edge of the 'Vallée de l'homme' as well as the Vézère valley, Fontpoutreau is a quiet area from which you can visit all the renowned sites of Perigord. The Lascaux Cave is a few kilometres away with the town of Montignac directly located on the Vézère. The famous town of Sarlat is only 40 km away and the many castles of the Dordogne Valley are close by. Between Vézère and Dordogne, you will have the choice between many different prehistoric sites or painted caves. The National Museum of Prehistory is in Eyzies de Tayac, where you can learn about these important parts of history.
