Our 3000 square foot, 4 BR, 3 BA house was built in 2000. The house is close to the horse stables and in the center of the plantation. It is located on a quiet residential street with the most beautiful live oak trees in Sea Pines. Our home has a gold designation as an upscale, well-appointed house with a designer touch that includes excellent furnishings, special features and top quality amenities.

It is an easy bike ride to the beach and is 5 minutes by car to the Sea Pines Beach Club. The house is centrally located as it is equally close to the Sea Pines Gate, Harbor Town and the Sea Pines Beach Club. The Sea Pines Beach Club has a life guard on duty. It also has an ocean front bar, snack bar/restaurant serving lunches and dinners. The bathrooms and showers are kept very clean.

The house is on a large beautiful landscaped lot situated on a tidal creek affording the opportunity to fish and crab from our own private dock. Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed from the screened in porch that overlooks the tidal creek. Relax in the private swimming pool or better yet rent a kayak and paddle from your own dock through the marsh to the inter coastal. This is a leisurely 30 minute paddle (one way) depending on how much wild life you see.

The house has a very open spacious feeling to it. The great room/ kitchen area is very large. The dining room table can easily seat 12 people. There are also two baby high chairs for your use. The kitchen is very ample and four people can easily prepare food at the same time without feeling cramped. The kitchen has beautiful granite countertops including a granite island that seats four people. The great room is equipped with a nice size television along with a VCR and DVD.

Each of our four bedrooms has a television and telephone. The master bedroom suite has a king-size bed with a TV/VCR. On the same side of the house is a bathroom and very large bonus room that sleeps four. It has 2 queens beds and a baby crib. The other two bedrooms are on the other side of the house and share one bathroom. One room has a queen. The other bedroom has the two twin beds and a baby crib. Each bedroom is very comfortable in size.

Our house also has a heated (your expense) pool and tennis facilities nearby. The gas grill is located in the pool area. We also have high speed wireless internet for your computer needs.

It is the perfect place for a vacation alone or with family groups. There are activities for everyone without going out of Sea Pines.

What makes this house unique

We love spending time on the dock. We fish, crab and kayak from it. All meals are on the screened in porch when the weather is agreeable. It is a wonderful house for a group of people to share. It is open yet has space to spread out. The pool is safe for children and perfect to cool off on the hot summer days. We are in the center of Sea Pines. Therefore it is easy to go anywhere in the community quickly. In 5 minutes you are at the shopping area, and buying the quart of milk that you need. Or you can walk to the horse stables to visit the horses or farm animals. Also it is a quick walk to Harbor Town.

Our Favorite Place to Stay in HHI

We have visited this property several times over the past few years and have grown to love it as if it were our own. It is perfect for any sized family and the layout of the house is fabulous. We love evening drinks on the screened in porch, afternoon fishing off the dock in the backyard and the beautiful large open airy floor plan. The house is very well maintained, the kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a nice dinner in and the furnishings are in great condition. The beach is a hop skip and a jump from the house and always filled with pleasant people. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and just the perfect dose of relaxation in its serene setting. We look forward to our next visit to Sea Pines and our return to our "home away from home".

We have rented this house a few times and find it a great vacation spot for our family. It is comfortable, close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The location is convenient and the property is great. It is furnished beautifully and makes us feel at home. We love taking long walks and bike rides on the many paths in Sea Pines.

I highly recommend renting this property. We've stayed there numerous times and thoroughly enjoy the peaceful and relaxing quality it affords. The layout and amenities are very functional and the decorating is comfortable, warm and gives you a feeling of being in your own home. I particularly like the kitchen for preparing meals for a group. It is a perfect house for four couples or grandparents, adult children and grandchildren. We enjoy the creek in the back of the house for kayaking or just sitting and watching the water and the birds. There are bike paths all around and we enjoy riding them all over Sea Pines and to the beautiful beaches. We always feel totally relaxed after a true vacation spent there.

We had a wonderful vacation. The home was perfect fit for our family - plenty of space. The kids loved the special bonus room. The pool was great - nice for a hot afternoon. The view in the back of the home is spectacular - lots of wildlife to watch!

Fabulous vacation house!

We had the most amazing time in Hilton Head. We have three kids & they each brought a friend, ages 15, 13, & 11. We spent the week: playing & swimming on the beach, swimming in the lovely private pool, fishing off the dock & in the lagoon, we rented kayaks and at high tide went kayaking right off the dock, went for long bike rides on the trails as well as bringing our kids roller blades for the trails as well. We went to Hilton Head ice cream every night. The kitchen was fabulous, a cooks dream. Lunch & breakfast in the screened in porch. I read a wonderful book. A absolutely perfect week.

Our family just returned (6/12/10) from a wonderful vacation in this well-appointed home! The moment we walked in the door of this beautiful SeaPines home we knew a wonderful week was in store for us and we were not disappointed! The amenities of this well kept home, with 4 large bedrooms, its convenient SeaPines location filled with bike trails(an easy 10min ride to the beach), made for a week filled with family memories. The outdoor pool and deck area provided the perfect location for sipping our afternoon drinks and the covered deck was wonderful for drinking our morning coffee and viewing the wildlife in the tidal creek. Our hosts, Jack and Ruth were exceptional and very eager to make sure we had a perfect stay and we certainly did! We highly recommend this home and are sure you will love it too!!

I stayed in this Sea Pines home with my daughter and her fammily at the end of the summer of 2009. What a lovely home and what gracious owners. The house is tastefully decorated and extremely well-equipped. We had a toddler and so the crib and especially the baby gate on the deck were wonderful and rarely-found amenities. The proximity to all of the Sea Pines activities is very good and yet you had the feeling of space and privacy. WIFI was accessible throughout the house. Jack and Ruth called after we arrived to make sure that everything was as we had expected - something i have never experienced in 30 years of HHI vacations. I recommend this property unequivocally. On a 1-to-5 scale I would give it 5 stars.
