This is a lovely, modern, clean and spacious apartment in a "real" Roman neighbourhood. The owners and family are very kind and helpful throughout, and have provided many convenient services such as airport pick-up, and a information folder in the apartment detailing recommended places to eat, both near the apartment and in the city centre. We frequented two of the recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is equipped with all the essentials: cooker, oven, microwave, three types of coffee makers (moka pot, filtered coffee machine and nespresso machine), all kinds of kitchen utensils, towels, TV, internet, lots of travel guides, etc. The internet connection was fast and reliable, which was great for us as we could use both our laptop and ipad. The shower was nice and hot, which was also a big tick for us. There are two balconies and it was pleasant to sit out or to water the plants at night. The apartment is very close to bus stops and only about 10 min walk to Tram line 8, which was what we caught every day to the city centre. Other than restaurants, there are also a number of small shops, butchers, bars, grocery stores and markets nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome, and will hopefully return very soon.

We had a great apartment to come home to in the evening. Obviously it has been decorated and furnitured with a lot of love and caring. At the airport we took the train to stazione Trastevere and bus 228 or 774 to stop Folchi
The apartment was easy to reach from the historic city. We always took bus 228 or 774 at the corner of Via Portuense - Via Folchi and tram 8 on the viale di Trastevere to the city and we came back by the same tram 8 to stazione Trastevere where we found the buses. The computer was a great help to find our way to the highlights. Bus 3 at stazione Trastevere is the easiest way to go to the National gallery of Modern Art in the park of Villa Borghese.It is at the last stop. Just in front of the crossing of the Tevere (there is a statue of a poet), there is a stop of tram 8,. There you find the centre of Trastevere with a lot of nice restaurants and a beautiful church Santa Maria di Trastevere. If you like icecream, try the blue ice. it's very good.

Where to start? The plan was to spend an entire month in Rome on my own--love big cities, love a challenge, love everything Italian.
As often happens with the dream trip, there were complications: sixty-eight-year-old legs, addiction to my car, not so fluent in Italian as I thought. Through all the ups and downs, this lovely apartment was a real haven, a chance to break away from the tourist routine and really relax. I appreciated so much being able to shop in the neighborhood, cook my own meals, use the dishwasher and washing machine. The appliances at La Casa di Pasquino, including the tv, oven, and microwave, are superior to what I'm used to at home. In particular the computer and the ATAC website that comes up as home page made it possible to (mostly) navigate the public transportation system. I am going to miss this apartment. Gino and Vincenzo--grazie e congratulazioni! You've thought of everything.

Quant au logement, il s'est révélé en tout point impeccable, mieux que nous ne pouvions l'imaginer. Et félicitations pour la décoration, nous nous sommes senti chez nous.
Enfin, les instructions étaient on ne peut plus claires. Tout a été pensé pour nous rendre la vie agréable, cartes, indications, détails de fonctionnement, marche à suivre, etc.

La Casa de Pasquino is a beautiful terraced apartment where we had a very relaxed and comfortable 3 night stay. It is fully equipped, spotlessly clean, and easy to get to from the centre of the city. Gino made us feel very welcome and had lots of suggestions to help us make the most of our stay in Rome. We hope to return next year.
