Already upon entering our large and modern apartment Hibiscus, you will feel immediately comfortable through its high-quality furnishing. Hibiscus offers you space for up to 12 people. Each of the bedroom has a satellite TV, radio, alarm, additional chairs and a furnished balcony. Thus, you can decide every day whether you would prefer to relax with the sound of the stream, or if you would prefer reading a good book or enjoy the sun on the south patio. The completely equipped eat-in kitchen will excite you - it has all comforts like a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerators, freezer, ceramic range, oven, etc. In addition to the appealing bathroom, Hibiscus also has two separate toilets. In the large beautifully designed garden there is a table tennis area, a large covered grill corner and sun chairs. Free parking spaces directly by the house!

Shopping facilities : In the city center of Tandern, only a few minutes walk from our house, you will find our bakery which is already open starting at 6:30 with oven-fresh goods and original Bavarian specialties!

This bakery is connected to a small supermarket in which you can buy goods for everyday need, and a small drink market.

The nearest pharmacy and different doctor offices can be found about 4 km away, in Hilgertshausen.

There you will also find a butcher and a large drink market.

Inns: In Tandern you will be pampered by the recently opened EssBar. This popular EssBar will pamper you with different cafe specialties, wines and a weekly changing menu! Whether you would like just a glass of wine, would like to unwind with a tasty cocktail or want to eat cozily during the evening, there you will always be taken care of!

About 2 km from Tandern you will find the Tafernwirt Niederdorf!

This typical Bavarian guest house is exactly perfect if you would like to enjoy our typical Bavarian hospitality and the delicacies!

The large menu will surely make it hard for you to decide upon a tasty dish!

Peter's Pony Farm: About 4 km from Tandern you will find this stable with ponies for small children and horses for larger ones!

Whether you want to pamper your child with a pony ride or you would like to sign up large horse lovers for an hour - here you will find happiness on the back of a horse ............

Perfect home away from home

What a wonderful place to stay! Our family of 3 spent a week here and could not have asked for a more perfect place. The countryside is just beautiful, the flat is equipped just as stated, there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, the autobahn and S bahn are not too far away and there is the most wonderful restaurant within walking distance. Sonja and Manfred were the perfect hosts, always available to answer questions and even willing to come and find you should you get lost.

We would highly recommend this to anyone who would like to feel as though they are at home while on vacation, I know we did. If we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

Thanks again Sonja and Manfred for such great hospitality. Tell Kimba we said hello!

Fantastic Holiday

My family and extended family (14 of us in all) stayed in both holiday homes for the Christmas week. All of us had a fantastic time and hated to leave. The owners were very friendly and helpful with pointers for our stay. The bakery in Tandern is out of this world and baked a very nice cake for my Mother-in-Law's Birthday on one day's notice. The holiday apartment met all our needs even with there being 14 of us. I would recommend this property to anyone and as gorgeous as it was in winter I would love to see it in the summer as well. It will be a holiday that my family will never forget.
