Huge, bright apt and very nice owners!

Wow! The pictures are great but the apt. is even better! We loved staying here and would definitely stay again. The apt. is very well decorated and sparkling clean but it is child friendly too. The owners have provided toys and books which is so great after a long day of sightseeing!
The neighborhood is friendly with people going out of their way to speak English to help us. We do speak some German but everyone wanted to practice English! The area was so quiet and peaceful at night... you'd never know you are in a big city. No Internet in the apt (though the owner is working on it) but there are several Internet cafes nearby. All of the people at the counters spoke English and were helpful when we needed to print things.
Transportation is easy by bus (central train station only an 8 - 10 min ride) which is a 2 min walk from the apt. Closest U-bahn for tourist destinations is a little further, maybe a 10 min walk, but taking the bus would make it faster. This apt is not "on the doorstep" of the Brandenberg Gate, but Berlin is so big and spread out that you will be travelling by bus, S and U bahn anyways.
Owner Christoph is amazingly helpful and can give you advice about transportation, restaurants, etc

We want to thank you for
providing the lovely flat that made our stay in Berlin so pleasant! All of us agree, that enjoying breakfast in the warm, spacious kitchen was the perfect way to begin every morning. In the evenings we returned to the same and planned our next day of sightseeing. We visited Berlin 21 years ago when it was still a divided city, we were awed by the new infrastructure and the renewed vitality
that we saw everywhere. Berlin should be on every traveler's "must see" list and you have the perfect accommodation for them!
Also, after struggling to order a taxi on line, we really appreciated having you make the request for us. It arrived promptly and delivered us to the airport ahead of schedule. Now we are home in the USA and will look forward to someday returning to Berlin for another
visit.

Large, clean and with even more than was written in the ad.
With an infant it was perfect to have a baby crib. The 2,5 year old had his own room with childrens books and the apartment big enough for him to run around.
Christoph, the owner, was helpfull and availiable if there was need for help.
The neighbourhood was just like we hoped : not a typically tourist area. What`s needed is just in the area.
We found the apartment perfect for exploring Berlin. And have allready recommended it to friends.

A brilliant flat. From our first afternoon in Moabit, it exceeded our expectations on many levels. One enters into a corridor leading to the kitchen/dining area. Well-equipped and spacious, this room easily met the needs of our party of seven. In the mornings, it was flooded with light. The electric lighting there was well situated and could be made atmospheric. The plumbing and heating were excellent. Two toilets were welcome to our large party and the option of either bath or shower was appreciated. The bedrooms were light, the beds so comfortable it made getting up in the mornings particularly difficult. Christoph and his wife were both very amiable and helpful, and could be contacted easily. The flat was very securely placed, protected and quiet within the network of flats, and the nearby supermarket made cooking in the evenings (or early mornings) unproblematic. In terms of transport, frequent buses on the main street provided quick access to the subway on Reinickendorfer Strasse, and Birkenstrasse was easily reached by foot. Centrally located yet protected, the flat greatly enhanced our Berlin experience and we would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation for a medium to large party.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Berlin und vor allem in der gemütlichen Wohnung, die genauso ist wie auf dieser Seite beschrieben. Es war sehr gemütlich und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Herzlichen Dank für die "Willkommen-Wasserflasche"!!!

Die Wohnung hält alles, was in der Beschreibung erwähnt wurde: moderne Ausstattung, gepflegter Zustand, ruhige Lage, geräumige und gemütliche Zimmer (Esszimmertisch ist auch für wirklich große Brettspiele geeignet), gute Verbindung an den ÖPNV, nette Details (Stadtplan u.ä. waren vorhanden), Bäcker und Supermarkt vor der Haustür.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war stets positiv. Fragen nach organisatorischen Details wurden immer freundlich und hilfsbereit beantwortet.
Ich kann die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen.

Mit unseren zwei Töchtern (5 und 7 Jahre) und ein paar Tage mit der Oma (68 Jahre) haben wir von hier aus Berlin erkundet. Alle hatten in dieser riesigen Wohnung viel Platz.
Die Wohnung hat alles gehalten was versprochen war, und noch mehr geboten. Bis zum Reiseführer und der Berlinkarte.
Die Essküche bietet, neben viel Raum, alles was wir im Urlaub gebraucht haben.
Jedem, der in der Lage ist in den 4. Stock zu steigen, können wir diese Wohnung empfehlen.
In der nächsten und näheren Umgebung können wirklich alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs erworben werden.
Wenn wir wieder in Berlin sind kommen wir gerne zurück.

Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt in dieser tollen Wohnung. Nicht nur unser 5jähriger wollte gar nicht mehr weg und war begeistert über die Bücher und Spiele, die schon in der Wohnung waren. Die riesige Küche mit der tollen Ausstattung ist grandios und wir haben jede Mahlzeit genossen. Es ist ruhig und die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut. Supermärkte in der Nähe sind vorhanden.
Nach den anstrengenden Tagestrips war es jedes Mal toll, wieder in dieser Wohnung zur Ruhe zu kommen. Das Treppensteigen am Ende des Tages sahen wir eher als sportliche Herausforderung. Auch die mit anwesende Oma, die nicht mehr ganz so gut Treppen steigen kann, würde trotz der Stufen wieder in diese Wohnung wollen. Die Wohnung ist es trotzdem wert.

so fühlten wir uns, 2 Amerikaner und 3 Deutsche, am Start durch Europa. In dieser schönen Wohnung mit viel Platz , guten Betten und allen Details (auch für die Hausfrau) die man sich nur denken kann, kann man wunderbar Pause machen, wenn man mit sightseeing fertig ist.
Und falls mal was nicht klappt, wird alles sofort erledigt !!( danke für die Hilfe bei der Kaffeemaschine)
Abends kann man auch mal gemütlich in der Küche am großen tisch essen und ein Wein trinken und beim Türken vorne an der Hauptstraße gibts gutes Essen "zum Mitnehmen".
Unser tägliches workout war der Weg in den vierten Stock ;))
Wir haben die Wohnung geliebt und sollte einer von uns mal wieder kommen oder jemand uns fragen, dann können wir nur sagen, da müsst ihr hin.

Es ist genau so, wie die Beschreibung verspricht: "hell, ruhig und modern", dazu perfekt sauber und mit liebevollen Details (Reiseführern und Berlinkarten, Regenschirme, CD-Auswahl.....) ausgestattet, Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit: jederzeit wieder!!!
Die Lage ist gut, Berlin lässt sich von dort aus gut zu Fuß oder per Bahn erkunden. Das Auto haben wir kostenlos auf der Straße geparkt.
Irgendwann haben wir mal einen Internetzugang vermisst, ansonsten waren wir (2 Erw/ 3 Ki bzw Jugendl) wunschlos glücklich.
Evtl zu beachten: die Wohnung liegt im 4. OG, das Treppenhaus ist aber sehr geräumig und bequem zu laufen, wir haben es gut ohne Schnaufen geschafft :-)

Owner's Response: Liebe Gäste! Vielen Dank, dafür daß Sie sich die Zeit genommen haben eine sehr informative Bewertung zu schreiben! Hier noch ein paar kleine Ergänzungen: Selbst an regnerischen Tagen ist die Wohnung schön hell. Einen Internetanschluß wird es voraussichtlich ab Herbst geben. Und in der Tat befindet sich die Wohnung im vierten Stock eines Berliner Altbaus. Insofern ist sie wohl eher nicht geeignet für gebrechliche oder Menschen mit Gehbehinderung.
