Five star family holiday home

This is a superb place for a family get together in Barbados. Mullins is a very nice part of the island with some excellent beaches really close and a nice relaxed feel. Speightstown is not much over a mile away with some very nice historical buildings and good places to eat. There was something for everyone - children loved playing in the pool and roaming around the gardens - the ladies made full use of the spa by Mullins Beach and the boys found a sports bar a mile away showing Premiership football matches and serving great food. The accommodation is very comfortable and well kept and the 3 staff are incredibly helpful. Simon & Sarah were very good to deal with and gave us lots of very useful advice about restaurants, places to go, where the teenagers could learn to surf and much more. We all had memorable time.

Best Birthday Ever

We were celebrating my husband's 50th birthday with 3 generations of the family gathered in this wonderful place. It was a fantastic 2 weeks which worked for all the age groups. The children had a ball in the pool for hours on end. The older generations relaxed on one or other of the decks with a glass or three of Harry's infamous rum punch. It was a joy to be here - the staff were brilliant and the house and apartments were just as advertised. Dazzlers Bar & Restaurant was our favourite - about a mile away. And for the birthday dinner we went to the Fishpot about 4 miles North and enjoyed the watefront dining and some excellent local fish. Of course it's years away but I am now looking forward to my 50th when we will be back.

Wonderful Mullens Bay House!

I have to thank Sarah & Simon Ellis hugely for such a lovely holiday which I had with my family (& extended family!) We rented the whole of Mullens Bay House including the pool & garden apartments at the end of August.
Everything was exactly as per the photos and description and we couldn't have asked or wanted for more. It was great to have the pool for the children (and adults too!) to play in and the garden and grounds were lovely. The monkeys and birds were a delight to watch in the early morning. I must also thank Andrew, Anthea & Noella for being so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Barbados is a lovely island and the location is prefect - although you do need to rent a car to make the most of your stay. The local restaurants were charming not to mention the likes of Tides and the Cliff which were outstanding. The beaches are as you would imagine - Mullens Bay is just a short walk down the road and is great for the kids and watersports. Down on the south coast is The Crane which was perfect for a bit of body surfing!
All in all, just a wonder holiday. I couldn't recommend it more and we will definitely return to Mullens Bay House again.
