I cannot say enough good things about this home. As another reviewer said, it really does feel like a second home. The home was spacious and beautifully taken care of. Not only was it clean and functional, but several of the bedrooms had full length wall closets, the book shelves on the first floor were surrounded by ornate wood carvings, and don't even get me started on how much I love the first floor bathroom. In essence, it was above and beyond my expectations.

It's location is absolutely perfect! It sits in a quiet town, but is a minute and a half walk from the S Bahn. From there you can get to Munich in half an hour and several other cities that are a must vista are not much further. Not to mention that there is a grocery store just 5 minutes (walking) away. We did rent a car while there and the roads nearby got us a bit turned around each day so I recommend a gps if you aren't familiar with the area.

I spent Christmas holiday there with my boyfriend and his family, and although it was in the middle of a cold winter, the house was a little bright piece of warmth after each of our daily adventures. I can imagine the home is beautiful in the Springtime. When we initially started looking for a place to stay, nearly everything in Bavaria was booked, but I am so glad we stumbled upon this charming home in Feldafing. I cannot imagine a better stay.

Personally, I did not intact much with Claudia, but the one email I sent to her was responded to very quickly and helpfully. She even made an effort during our visit to come over and meet us. I'd definitely recommend working with her.

As this was our second time staying at Claudia's holiday home, we felt like we were coming home as we returned this year. Everything is what we were expecting including the warm hospitality displayed by the home owner.

The home has everything one needs for their stay inside the home, and out. The home is well equipped and maintained. The patio is fantastic overlooking the trees, and well cared for garden. The location is excellent within a short walk to the train station with a regional train every 20 minutes. Munich is around 35 minutes away, and other towns just a stop or two away from Feldafing. For two years now we rented a car, however we used it so little both years as everywhere we needed to go, we took the trains or buses. We even managed to get to Andechs by transit.

Within walking distance you will find your basic necessities, a few restaurants, banks, bakery, grocery and drug store. the lake and its recreational amenities can be found within a short hike.

Overall, we find this home to be excellent and we will be staying here the next time we visit the Munich area.

Wir (4köpfige Familie aus der Schweiz) waren vom 11. - 29.7.09 im Haus zu Gast. Wir haben das Haus genau so vorgefunden, wie es im Internet beschrieben war. Die vorgängigen E-Mail-Kontakte mit der Vermieterin waren von Vorteil, so war von vornherein alles geregelt!

Das Haus ist optimal und zentral gelegen: Grosser Umschwung, Nähe zur Bahn nach München, grosses, gut eingerichtetes Haus. Es fehlte an nichts! Auch die Sauberkeit liess nichts zu wünschen übrig.

Wir wurden von der Vermieterin bis ins kleinste Detail ins Haus und in Ausflüge und Aktivitäten eingeführt, so dass wir uns vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlten.

Wir können das Haus sowohl Ehepaaren, vor allem aber auch Familien sehr weiter empfehlen. Es ist nicht ausgeschlossen, dass wir wieder einmal unseren Urlaub in Feldafing verbringen!

Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt im Ferienhaus Pillhofer. Das Haus ist zwar schon älter, aber die Ausstattung ist perfekt, man findet alles vor, was man braucht.
Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, hat einen tollen Garten, der liebevoll gepflegt wird und schön bepflanzt ist und eine große Terrasse, auf der man bei schönem Wetter den Tag mit einem ausgiebigen Frühstück starten kann. Die Nähe zur S-Bahn ist genial (2 Minuten - die Bahn ist dennoch nicht störend vom Geräusch her).
Die Beschreibung des Hauses und die Photos spiegeln alles treffend wieder.
Von den Gastgebern wird man sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gibt eine Infomappe mit vielen Ausflugstipps in die Umgebung.
Wir waren nun schon öfter in der Unterkunft. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl.

Wir sind eine französische Familie und wir haben 5 Tage in diesem charmanten Haus verbracht. Alles war gut gestaltet, der Garten ist sehr schön, und das Haus ist ruhig und sehr angenehm.
Der Bahnhof ist wirklich nicht weit entfernt, es ist also sehr praktisch, um nach München mit dem Zug zu fahren.

Ein sehr schönes großes Haus mit 2,5 Schlafzimmern und einer wunderschönen Sonnenterrasse! Haus liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und hilfsbereit und gibt einem gern Tipps für mögliche Unternehmungen.

Fazit: 5 Sterne und auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!!!

wir habe mir 6 Personen eine tolle erholsame Urlaubswoche in einem tollen Ferienhaus verbracht. Komplett gut ausgestattet, eine geniale große Terrasse, die wir aus sehr genossen haben, kleines Mankel war der Terrassentisch, etwas unstabil uns klein für 6 Personen.

Also als Fazit: wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und es ist sehr zu empfehlen.
