Casa Pasqualin is a free-standing house, enjoying the location as the uppermost house in the centre of Cessole, which does not only provide a stunning location and view with sun during the entire day, but also means the closeness to the village itself. The renovation did not affect the outside façade that is more than 250 years old, neither the vaults in the inside have been changed. As a contrast to the old building, the renovation & equipments offer a modern standard. The house comprises 7 double bedrooms & 7 bathrooms, 2 sleeping galleries, open living/dining area with a top-of-the-range kitchen with island unit and a Swedish oven, as well as a combined gas/solar heating that protects the environment. A clever distribution of the living space of 330m² allows smaller groups of up to 8 persons to only rent the bigger part of the house of only 200m² for a lower cost. The swimming pool is always part of the rent with 15 x 3.5 m in a panoramic location with kids' pool).
Great wines and great food to go with it: Barolo and Barbaresco are grapes that grow in the Piedmont region in order to convert them into what is probably the best wine of Italy. But also Barbera, Dolcetto and white wines like Chardonnay, Gavi and Arneis are fantastic wines, just like the Moscato. Wine tastings directly with the wine growers often take an entire afternoon, as the inhabitants of the Piedmont are very friendly people and like to take their time. Matching those fine wines, there are numerous fantastic dishes that are offered during the entire year, especially the white truffles in autumn. A real Piedmont meal doesn't need a menu, because what will be served is what has been purchased fresh in the morning. Meaning all guests will receive the same dishes, starting with up to 8 appetizers, then the 'primo' (fine, thin pasta or small, hand-made ravioli, lasagne, risotto, gnocchi, soup etc.), the 'secondo' (meat, often calf or rabbit, wild pork) and finally cheese and/or 'dolce' (surely the most famous is the 'panna cotta').
Also tennis player, fishers and horse rider will enjoy their stay: Within about only 600 m you reach the tennis court of the village. This is rarely ever used, so that it never happened that the court was booked when our guests wanted to use it. For a fee of €5 per day (day, not hour) you can train your tennis skills. Next to it you find the football ground and the boocia court, which can be used free of charge. If you would like to go on a horse riding trip or take a riding lesson, the 'Centro Ippico' in Quartino in about 5 km is a great option; they offer several Camargue horses. Fisher can use the artificial lake in the neighbouring village of Vesime which has been created just for fishing. Fishing rods and lures can be hired or bought.
