Hiking trails during summer: Hiking trail Zuckmayer Saas-Fee: This hiking trail was created in 1996 in honour of the writer Dr. Carl Zuckmayer. Five demarcation stones quote Zuckmayer from his speech in celebration of his naturalization in Saas-Fee. Starting from the house Vogelweid, his former residence, you climb up to the Bärenfalle (bear trap), from where the path leads to the Melchboden and the Café Alpenblick. Afterwards, you follow the forest trail down to Saas-Fee passing the Hohnegg. Walking time: 2 hrs. Alpine bloom promenade “Alpenblume”: Edelweiss and Gentian - those are only two of the approx. 240 flowering species that you can admire on the promenade Alpenblume from Kreuzboden to Saas-Grund. Not all of them are in bloom at the same time. Yet based on information boards with pictures you can get an image of them anyway. Walking time: approx. 3 hours.
Toboggan run: Tobogganing like a lightning bolt! Jumps, 360 degrees roundabout and curved jumps are only some of the features of the toboggan run Feeblitz. Since September 2000 this unique attraction has enriched the town. The toboggan lift to the Alps' highest rollercoaster - integrated into the amazing landscape and offering fun as well as adrenaline for the whole family. Insiders agree: who ever does not try this can only to blame himself, because the Feeblitz guarantees fun for young and old, mom, dad and the kids. Quite often, it´s the dads who cannot get enough of the rapid curves on rails. It´s not surprising - after all, the fun already begins on the way up. With a gradient of 55 degrees, the toboggan lift runs through an idyllic wooded landscape up to the starting point. Once you reached the top, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village Saas-Fee.
Adventure forest: On a series of runs of different levels of difficulty, you can experience nature in a new, sometimes nerve wrecking way. You are moving from tree to tree having to overcome different kinds of obstacles: hanging bridges, canopy rides, rope swings, etc.
