Having done our due diligence and secured this plot of land, the next step was to decide what we wanted to build. Looking at our growing family and talking to others, we decided that a home that would accommodate us in the future and for extended family stays would be right. Having 2 bedrooms downstairs meant that elderly could stay and be close to the facilities of the home without the bother of the stairs. Wheel chair uses and pushchairs have easy access through the double front doors which were an upgrade for this purpose. We then decided to tile the downstairs access floors for ease. So you can start to see that we gave considerable thought to this whole project. Over the years we have replaced and upgraded furniture, new mattresses, re-decorated, we are always replacing towels and sheets. We are always looking to improve.

We know from life experience what its like to travel with kids and to find something for the whole families enjoyment.

Here you can find rest and relaxation, yet only a few miles up the road you can find all the best entertainment you can muster. Close enough to get to it easily, far enough to be out of it. While you sit in the sunshine and enjoy the pool and villa with all the tranquility, its very hard to believe sometimes that just down the road is all entertainment, restaurants and shops you could ever want! I feel safe on this community and often travel to the villa and spend time there on my own. I am fortunate to have a wonderful management company located on the community who take great care of everything including my guests.

Sometimes I sit quietly by the pool, early morning with my cuppa, or early evening with my gin and tonic, and just wait to see what nature might bring and we certainly have had some wonderful surprises. Fawn Deer, just like Bambi with the spots, Hogs with a litter of pups, Racoons, Armadillos, Fireflies blinking their light in the darkness, Squirrels chasing up and down trees, Eagles swooping overhead, Buzzards and Hawks hunting from the pool cadging, frogs, an odd snake or two and its wonderful to be so close but safe. I hope this doesn't frighten you but encourage you to see another side of Florida, its not all white knuckle.
