Our apartment is No.237, situated on the brand new development called Vuemont.
Vuemont is a secure development overlooking the west and Northwest coasts, offering a panoramic view of the Caribbean sea. No. 237 is a ground level, traditionally styled two bedroom, two bathroom apartment, with air conditioned bedrooms & a large spacious furnished patio, overlooking the three tiered community pool with a panoramic Caribbean sea view. Also we have a large brand new shared infinity swimming pool with heated jacuzzi, all about 50 meters away. Vuemont also has a fully equipped gym & tennis courts for guests to use, situated within 100 meters of our apartment.
Vuemont is within easy reach of historic Holetown and a short drive away from Speightstown. West coast beaches, golfing and restaurants are just a short drive away. The safety, comfort and convenience of this escape is a welcome respite for young professionals, families and all those in search of peace and relaxation.
An Exchange Day when we exchange Arrivals & Departures is flexible & may be on any day of the week.
FLIGHTS & AIRPORT TRANSFER: If you book our apartment we will help you find a flight if you ask us to do so. I can only do this if you are departing from & returning to U.K.. We do this in order to help you find a good flight deal if you have not actually booked flights. We will NOT be responsible if & when you go to book your flight if the details we find for you have changed. We have nothing to do with setting flight prices, any prices for flights that we may mention are not connected with our apartment hire price in any way.
AIRPORT TRANSFER (Approximate Prices Only)
We can arrange for our Property Managers or their representatives to collect your group & luggage from Barbados airport & take you to the apartment. We can arrange with them to do the same again for your return trip to the airport. We supply this airport transfer service to & from the apartment at an approximate fee of BDS $200.00 ABOUT £64.00 British Pounds for a group size of up to three people For just a one way trip either from or to Bridgetown airport the fee will be half price. If you require this service for a group size of FOUR PEOPLE the fee will be about BDS $240.00 about £76.00 British Pounds for both directions or BDS $120.00 one way.. In order to reserve this service, please book it when you reserve the apartment.. Payment will be directly to your driver,. We do NOT recommend you to try driving yourself to the apartment from the airport if it is your first visit to Barbados.
HIRE CAR & DRIVING IN BARBADOS: We can arrange for a recommended Barbados Car Hire Firm to contact you after you book our apartment in Barbados.
Normally the Barbados Car Hire Firm will contact you via e-mail at your normal address.
Driving in Barbados is very much the same as in United Kingdom .
Barbados drives on the left hand side of the road, as in U.K.
Traffic regulations are very similar to those in U.K.
Some slight differences do exist.
MAID SERVICE & GROCERY PACKAGE WAITING FOR YOU: If you book our apartment for longer than 10 Nights you will get Maid Service once per week included with your price.
If you require extra Maid Service this may be arranged as an Optional Extra at the time of making your booking.
INTERNET & TELEPHONE: We have FREE wireless internet available in the apartment if you bring your own computer. Also our telephone can be used for any call within Barbados FREE of charge.
Our Property Manager will prepare a grocery package to be waiting for you if you request it. You will need to pass on a grocery list with your requirements. Please settle the charges for this service directly with our Property Manager upon your arrival at the apartment.
The picture is of My wife Liz & myself Neale, I am afraid the picture was NOT taken at our apartment. We have 3 adult children 2 boys & 1 girl. Also we have 4 grandchildren all boys. We live in a small village near Chipping Norton in the Cotswold Hills of North Oxfordshire England. We rent our apartment to help contribute towards it's running costs. We do not rent it out to make a profit.
My wife & I first went to Barbados with my sister-in-law & her husband. We were stopping in a place owned by a close relative. My wife & I just loved Barbados & wanted to return on a regular basis. I asked (Eddy) a local man who helped look after the place we were staying in, if he knew of anywhere for sale.
Eddy took me up to Vuemont where our apartment was the show room apartment. We immediately fell in love with it & the fantastic sea views. We bought the actual show room apartment.. Our apartment is situated on the Vuemont complex which has over 70 properties privately owned. Most of the properties are strictly private & are NOT rented as Holiday Properties.
We normally stay in our apartment for a period of time about twice a year. Each time we go to Barbados we like it even more, the people are so friendly. When we leave the apartment to return to the UK the locals say when are you coming home again.
