Wonderful house in Palmetto!

Just returned to the UK from Florida following a lovely 2 week holiday, the first of which was spent here. We have two young children (3 and 1) who both loved the pool and wondering around the area looking for lizards and birds. The house is beautifully presented and very comfortable - exactly what you need after days out. St Pete's Beach, Siesta Key, Anna Maria Island amongst many other beaches are an easy drive away and there are some great places to visit in Tampa - Lowry Zoo and the Aquarium are both great and Kilwin's Ice Cream in St Armand's Circle, Sarasota is fantastic.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely, spacious home!

What a lovely, spacious home! It was spotlessly clean. The home provided beach chairs and towels, umbrella and a cooler which we used several times. The location is perfect for airport pick-up or shuttle service to both Tampa and Sarasota airports or short excursions to numerous gulf coast beaches. A few in our party golfed at the course in this community. We would have appreciated an outdoor grill, but we managed quite nicely otherwise in the modern and clean kitchen. What a fantastic house

We arrived at the house after spending time in New York, Miami and Orlando, and needing somewhere to relax. First impression on pulling onto the drive was wow! The wow factor continued inside, well furnished and decorated with all the mod cons needed to make this a home from home. The area is peaceful so lying by the pool or sitting reading is relaxing. The location is great, the highway junction is close by with access to Tampa, Bradenton, Sarasota and Siesta Keys all worth a visit. It's only a couple of hours to Orlando so you can still reach the "parks" from here.
Well worth a visit if you want to stay in a real American house. We have no problems recommending this property to anyone. The owners were also a pleasure to deal with.

Very nice house and the owners!

After a long internet search where the houses were expensive, or not nicely arranged, owners not too friendly etc. we found that one! It is really as on the pictures - very nicely decorated and true to the photos in internet.
The owners answered many of my questions (what ever came to my mind about the pool, the heating, the area, the restaurants, payments, deposit) and were all the time correct and professional.
Don't hesitate - the owners, the maintaining company, the price, the area - everyting is perfect!

This is a well maintained and well located property.
It has all the things you could need for a relaxing and quiet holiday, but is not too far away from beaches, shopping and entertainment.
The pool is secluded and quiet. the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
We had a womderful time and would recommend it to any one wanting a peaceful stay.

The Cleetons - May 2012 - Luxurious Elegant Home

We have recently returned from staying for 8 nights at the Villa in Parrish and had a wonderful relaxing week after what was a very hectic 8 nights in Orlando visiting the theme parks.
The villa is in a very quiet location on the edge on a golf course on a lovely quiet residential estate just outside of Palmetto, about 3 miles from the Ellenton Premium Shopping Outlets. The villa is about 45 minutes away from the gorgeous beaches in Sarasota and about 35 minutes from St Pete's Beach and also not far from Tampa.
We spent a lot of time just chilling at the villa by the pool, our 6 year old now swims like a fish and loved having the pool that he could jump in whenever he wanted. We bought some wondeful steaks from the Smokehouse Butchers in Palmetto and cooked them on the BBQ one evening and listened to the wildlife croaking away in the woods behind the pool.
St Petes Beach is one of our favourite places and we had many a trip to the lovely beach there for sunbathing, jet skiing or the big inflatable water slides on the weekend, which our little boy just loved or out for dinner in the evening after a quick drive over the Sunshine Skyway toll bridge (make sure you have some change on you).
We had some wonderful meals out while were there both in St Petes and Sarasota and also visited the Ellenton Steakhouse, which on arrival we thought was like something out of Fawlty Towers (for those of you from the UK that know the programme) very disorganised in a laughable kind of way, but the steaks we had were amazing and the food and drink was very reasonable - just goes to show looks can be deceiving!!
I would recommend this villa to anyone young or old, families or just couples, the villa is really spacious inside and has everything you could need to make you feel at home during your stay. We spoke to the Management company a couple of times while we were there and they were very helpful and sorted things out really quickly, which was great.
Steve & Jackie were great at responding to my e-mails and we had seamless liasons with them from the start of our booking through to the return of our deposit - so thanks very much for all your help.
Go on, go ahead and book the Villa, you won't be disappointed!

Being situated between Tampa and Sarasota, our home is in a great location. It makes it an ideal base from which to explore a large variety of places but it's a quiet and peaceful place to return to when you want to relax and unwind. We are delighed that Briony and her family had such a great time.
