My family and I stayed at this apartment for a week in June. First of all I have to say thank you very very much for all your help, Ralph and team, Ralph arranged for us transportation and met us at the apartment!

The building is very nice and new, and in spite of previous comment the elevator worked just perfect during our stay and we didn't have any problems at the apartment, everything worked perfect!

The bedding is very nice and the beds were very comfortable, having 1.5 bathroom was really handy! especially when getting ready in the morning (2 couples and a kid)

Now the main thing is the location! tons of restaurants and stores nearby, subway is just a block away! everything was within our reach

Overall, it was a very nice stay and I would recommend this apartment to families with kids who want to be right in the center of the city in a cozy duplex apartment that truly feels like home. We would definitely come back!!!

Great Location, not so great experience

First off, the location was great. It was a short bus ride to the UN where i was working and a few blocks from the 6 train line to get me up and down Manhattan and Brooklyn. Also the rental agent worked with me considering i booked the day i landed in NYC. They were very cordial, accepted my credit card payment, and let me store my luggage at their office while the apartment was being cleaned.

There was also great bedding and extra bedding available for our use that made it feel more like home.

Two really junk things about this apartment was that the elevator broke twice during our stay and we had to walk up and down 12 flights of stairs. The second time it broke, I had to lug down 2 very heavy suitcases. The building management was hard to reach and when I finally did reach them, the response i got was very unsympathetic to our situation.

Another bad thing was the water pressure in the shower. It was barely above a trickle. With 4 people having to shower and be ready for work by a certain time, this poorly pressured shower made it a logistical nightmare in the mornings and the evenings when we returned.

Also, the airconditioner upstairs leaked and I awoke to a puddle of water near the bed. Not a nice thing to wake up too.

If location is your main thing and basic comforts, this place meets your needs. There are also many bars, restaurants, shops near the apartment that are perfect for people ages 21-40. The Starbucks across the street was a lifesaver!
