We have owned property in Crystal Beach for over a decade. Prior to Hurricane Ike we owned three beach houses, Taylor's Treasure, Lazy Daze and At Ease. All three were total losses after the storm so we decided to purchase property in the Texas Hill Country but we missed the beach.
We missed the Beach but we weren’t sure we wanted to build from scratch so our realtor for over 10 years, Kelli Untermeyer with Beach or Bay Real Estate, found this hurricane Ike survivor with no damage from the storm. We added 800 square feet and made it a 2 story beach house. So we are 1600 sq. ft. inside and 1200 sq. ft. of decking with great ocean views with a short walk to a large family friendly beach.
We are blessed to have a home in the Texas hill country and the Texas gulf coast to enjoy with family and friends.
