The Red Velvet Inn is a unique, pet-friendly bed & breakfast located in the heart of downtown Navasota, TX, just 20 minutes south of College Station and an hour north of Houston. It is located in a 120-year-old Victorian style house that was built by Charles W. Stewart, two-time mayor of Navasota, and son of Charles B. Stewart, signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and designer of the Texas flag. A portion of all rentals is donated to several Texas dog rescue organizations.
The Red Velvet Inn has 4 unique bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. All 4 queen bedrooms have private bathrooms and two are ensuite. All bedrooms have cable television and free wi-fi. There is also two living areas, a full kitchen, a laundry room, a bar, and a large fenced backyard with plenty of seating.

I've lived in Texas my whole life and enjoy everything about the Lone Star State. My husband and I live in College Station and have been married since 1995. My passions include Siberian Husky dog rescue, photography, baking, and renovating old, run-down properties.
I had been renovating properties for several year when I came across this sad, run-down, old Victorian home in Navasota, TX. When I saw her, I knew I needed to buy her and bring her back to her former glory. After 11 long months of extensive restoration, she was more beautiful that I had even imagined and I knew I wanted to share her with travelers and vacationers that were looking for a fun, unique bed and breakfast experience.
One of the things that make the Red Velvet Inn unique is that pets are welcome and every time you stay with us, you are helping a homeless dog get much needed veterinary care and ultimately, a new home and family.
