Perfect Big Island retreat

We were thrilled when we arrived and made our way into the bungalow. The privacy was as good or better than described. We felt like we were tucked away in the tropics. We ate on the 'upper' Lanai every night, usually after grilling on the brand new gas grill, and watched the sunset. A Bar and Grill Restaurant is within easy walking distance. The Foodland supermarket is just a couple of miles to the south and is well stocked and reasonably priced. Geckos visited us on the Lanai and also atop the kitchen cabinets. They were a little shy and very cute. The entrance is at the end of a quiet road, so no other people or cars passing by. Nice secluded tropical setting for the hot tub in the 'lower' Lanai. Everything was perfect, we are sure we would stay here again on our next visit to the Big Island.

Today we heard from guest who stayed at the Bungalow 2 years ago. They had love their stay and wanted to return again in February 2013 but waited too long to reserve and were so disappointed when they were no able to Reserve dates in February 2013 so are now planning on booking 9 months ahead of time for most of the month of February 2014.
We are happy to offer a Great Value, Beautiful Private Setting and Convenient, Central Location.

Romantic Getaway in Paradise

This was our second visit to the Bungalow Hideaway, and we were once again very impressed with the amenities. The property is secluded and private, and we had a very relaxing and perfect vacation. We will definitely be back again.

This is the best place to stay on the island

I have used VRBO 4 times while traveling, and this place was the best I have found yet. I cant tell you enough how great this place was for me and my wife. It gave us privacy, but we were so close to everything. I will never forget this house, and if I am in Kona again, I will absolutely stay there again. I would recommend this to anyone. It helped make our trip to Hawaii unforgetable!

How wonderful this home was, including the Gecko's that greeted us daily.
Everything was perfect, and the home was much better in person than the

Best vacation rental EVER!

The Bungalow is a well appointed and extremely comfortable, private vacation rental. It was one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. It is a large rental home, with both a screened in and outdoor lanai. Beautiful landscaping, quite and very private. We definitely will be return guests.

We had such a wonderful experience at the bungalow hideaway, first day we were greeted by the lovely cat lounging on the launi, plenty of geckos to keep you busy snapping pics and the sweet dog that visits everyday was a great treat , since we missed our puppies at home. And the outdoor shower,I love it! I will miss it every morning. I will be back, cant wait , thank you Reggie for making our stay memorable. I will let my friends and relatives know about this wonderful place.
