Bryan and I (Cilla) left England in a Motor-home for an adventure travelling around Europe, discovering amazing places with new new cultures and meeting many new friends. After visiting Belgium, Holland, Germany, Austria, N. Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia, we came to Italy by ferry. Touring around the south of Italy was wonderful. We enjoyed the Italian countryside, the culture, food and way of life but it wasn't until we reached Abruzzo that we totally fell in love with it all! The diversity of the terrain, the customs and culture of this wonderful Region - and most of all the warm and welcoming people, made this the place that we wanted to make our new home. We bought Villa Collina, an old farm house, in an enviable location with wonderful panoramic views from every window. The next year saw us lovingly renovating and restoring the Villa to the highest standards. Friends and family came to stay and loved it too!! We enjoyed our new home so much that we decided to share our little piece of heaven with others who wanted the perfect vacation. A spacious 'home from home' with every facility and convenience, situated in a peaceful and tranquil area of outstanding beauty with many places of interest within easy reach. We meet lovely families coming to stay at the Villa for their vacation, some return year after year and have become firm friends. We live close by so are on hand to help with any queries whether its where to eat the best local dishes, the best shopping centres, the sandy beaches or to give directions to the entertaining local festivals that occur throughout the summer. We offer the perfect venue for couples and families wanting to get away from the stresses of life who like peace, tranquility with interesting sights and a culture that hasn't altered in centuries. We hope to share this with you too very soon!!
