Casa Carla is a house in a residence on a fabulous cliff-top position overlooking the sea east of Stintino with clear, turquoise water and white sandy beaches, and on the west the dark blue coloured sea. It would be difficult to ask for a more delightful setting. Casa Carla is located on the higher part of the residence and has stunning incomparable views. The spacious residence consists of low houses built of local natural stone. The residence is very well tended and full of Mediterranean plants. Next to the residence is a moon landscape, great for walks and exploring. The huge pool is open from 15 June until 15 September. There is also a separated small pool for children.
The house consists of 2 double rooms a room with bunk-bed, two bathrooms, kitchen and a living room with big windows that offer the same stunning views as the terrace. The terrace is furnished with table, chairs and barbecue.
About the area: The residence is located on the very northern tip called Capo Falcone, which over looks the Island of Asinara National Park and the most popular and stunning La Pelosa Beach, with its amazingly clear and turquoise shallow waters. Various activities as jet skis, diving, sailing and boat rental are available. Located on the north west tip of Sardinia, Stintino is an easy 45 minute drive from Alghero airport and a popular tourist resort. Fresh Seafood features in the restaurants in Stintino including harbour side dining. Opposite Stintino is the island of Asinara now a nature reserve with day trips by boat available from Stintino new harbour. Sailing, diving and snorkelling are all available locally. Le Saline beach is also nearby and over 1 km long and has the unique 'rice grains' of sand. The local Agriturismos are well worth a visit where you can sample the delights of traditional Sardinian food and local wine.
