Gem in the heart of the Catalonian countryside
This is a fine apartment with fabulous views of the town of Moia, from all windows. Carlos & George, the owners were friendly & accommodating, including providing some grub for us on our late arrival from Dublin, via Girona & free wi-fi.
The apartment is a bit of an advert for IKEA & very "white," including the leather sofas in the living area & it could do with a splash of colour. However it's well equipped & although the bedrooms aren't large, the living/kitchen area is pleasant & really comfortable. It's certainly an apartment where you can chillax.
Outside, the pool is plenty big enough to accommodate the apartments in the complex. Like everything else here, it's spotlessly clean, though it needs some sun-loungers for guests. (There are none, but the owner has informed me that he will be addressing this.)
Moia is a friendly town (around 5,000 inhabitants) & we enjoyed one of the festivals occuring while we were there & the bars. Proper restaurants were pricey, so best to eat in one of the bars. We had some great tapas.
We really enjoyed the fact that Moia isn't a tourist town. So learn a bit of Spanish/Catalan to get by a bit. As a town, it has all you need & is great as a base to get around. During our week there we got to Monserrat, (fabulous) Vic, (smashing market-town) Ille Fantasia (Waterpark - had to go to appease the kids!) Figueres (for Dali's museum) & Barcelona (twice,) parking up on the outskirts (Trinitat Nova) & catching the excellent, air-conditioned underground into the centre.
This isn't a place to go clubbing, but it is a really nice place to stay & get immersed in the Catalonian way of life. The apartment has all you need & is definitely more up-market than your average rental.
I would certainly recommned it as a place to stay in this area.
P.S You do need a car & a strong constitution for some of the windy, yet beautiful roads!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comment that surely can help the tenants get an idea of ??what they can receive here. Indeed, most of the furniture of this apartment are not Ikea but a French chain , Fly known for having to a highly practical sofas bed, and I believe a good design. I hope to meet again another time. You were a very nice tenants.
The sun-loungers are on the way
