Explore the area by foot or pedal around town on beach cruisers. Spend some lazy days on the sand or exploring tide pools by the Ocean Institute. Looking for more adventure? Book a whale watching tour, a fishing expedition, a day trip to Catalina, or rent watercraft all right in the Harbor. At nighttime enjoy the convenience of shopping and eating at one of the many restaurants right in Lantern Village. This property comfortably sleeps four and has all the conveniences of home!

The property had a wonderful historical past and was decorated nicely with very comfortable and interesting pieces. We enjoyed our stay very much with easy access to great sights and restaurants. The main balcony was especially relaxing too.
We would suggest that instructions be included on what channels work for Cox Cable, since we had to call them ourselves when we could not get a satellite signal on the main TV. Cox had to instruct us on what settings the TV needed to be on. The TV in the bedroom only worked with DVD's and the bedroom stereo was not in working condition at all.
Since the listing photo of the property showed a computer in the office alcove, it lead us to believe that there was a computer for use, which was not the case. This was definitely misleading.
Since we were charged a considerable cleaning fee, we would have expected the property to have been cleaner than it was. The kitchen floor/pantry should have been swept, the stove and refrigerator were dirty and (5) boxes of crackers (some open) were left in the microwave oven from a previous guest. There were also men's underwear in the bedroom dresser, left from a previous guest, as well. Whoever received the cleaning fee surely did not earn the full amount that we paid.
Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing few days away from home. We would recommend this property for a short get-away, but hopefully the property owner improves on these few suggestions.

Best one yet!!

Our family had an incredible time in Dana Point staying at this beautiful home. Couple of the kids slept on the pull out couch, which by the way is very comfortable, while some stayed out on the balcony sleeping on the chaise lounges. The curtains on the main balcony close allowing for privacy while the sound of the water fountain, and ocean breeze lulled them to sleep. We had several meals in the Dana Point area, and spent some time at the tide pools where the kids found tons of sea creatures. I am planning to stay again!!! Now if I can talk my wife into the king size bed and soft comforter we had there, I will sleep like i did on our mini vacation. Loved it! She did by the way write down the name of the comforter! A must stay

Amazing!!

My wife and I stayed at the Dana Point Spanish Revival for a weekend getaway in March. The property was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, close to incredible restaurants, close to the beach etc. We spent hours on the balcony reading our books while appreciating the amazing view of Dana Point and the ocean. This place had it all plus some. The beach cruisers in the garage were a very nice touch! It was clean and comfortable and we couldn't have asked for a better location/vacation.
The property manager, John, was incredibly helpful and made the entire rental process very easy. He was available for questions when needed and was committed to making our stay incredible.
We'd recommend this rental to anyone!!

PERFECT beach vacation spot! The best location in Dana Point

I stayed here last summer, I needed a getaway to study for exams and this turned out to be the perfect spot! I loved that the patio off the kitchen had sunshine and the BIG patio with the ocean view was covered with lounge chairs, and very cozy. The place was very clean and the owner's were extremely helpful in making sure my stay was wonderful!
The kitchen and pantry were great for stocking up groceries and making some of my own meals when I didn't want to eat out... and I rode my bike to the grocery store down the street and to a couple fun restaurants, too. Very perfectly located if you're looking for something with walking or biking access to entertainment, and only a couple miles from Doheny, the tidepools, and the harbor. Stuft Crust Pizza was yummy, and there is a delicious Thai place very close as well. Hennessey's has live music on weekends and it's nice to sit outside.
The view, and the cozy "home" feel of the place were what made it so great for me. After being there a couple days I wanted to move in =) I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends!
