Toberpatrick Cottage is part of a converted old stone courtyard on a working farm located at the foot of Croghan Mountain located on a quiet rural road at the foot of Croghan Mountain. On the farm you are surrounded by horses, cattle and many friendly little dogs who come to greet you when you arrive. On arrival one has a feeling of stepping back in time and Toberpatrick is a perfect hideaway to relax and chill and use as a base for visiting the south east of Ireland.
The Vale of Avoca and Glendalough is close by and one must take a trip across the Sally Gap over the mountains and into Blessington. The area is a paradise for Fishing and Hillwalking. Horse-riding, Golfing and Cycling is also easily available.
Wexford, Kilkenny and Carlow are excellent shopping towns.
Clone beach is only a 15 minute drive (lovely private beach).
Wildlife if very much alive on the farm with a short stroll one can look out for deer, rabbits and fox as they go about their daily activities.
