Our week in the villa was incredibly good and very relaxed. Our two girls of 5 and 9 years old found it totally awesome. They love it. First of all a super receipt by Enrica and her family. What a sweet people! They really makes you feel special and we were very welcome. All photos and descriptions mentioned on the site are correct and actually in real it is even better. Great pool, hottube, beautiful, everything was very clean (super) and we were very happy with the sunbeds and the hammock. Very nice playground for the kids and a beautiful view. Quiet, relaxed and atmospheric with the lights in the garden and swimming pool. Unfortunately we have to leave after 7 great days. We have savored and will not quickly forgot Enrica and everyone there. Top! Really recommendable!

We had a fabulous vacation at Villa la Rosa. We stayed here for three weeks in July 2012 and enjoyed every day of it. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Enrica and her daughter. They had prepared a wonderful brunch full of Italian specialties, so we didn't need to go shopping for anything. The villa is equipped with everything you need, including shampoo and towels. Also the villa was perfectly cleaned, both inside as well as outside.

Inside, the villa is actually bigger than we had guessed from the photos on the website. Outside (which is where we spent most our time) it is a dream. A spectacular view and a perfect swimming pool and playground for our three young daughters. The photos on the website are very accurate. The garden is private, although not completely isolated. There are neighbors, usually only during the weekend, but they're at a distance and really quiet.

There is an agriturismo restaurant within walking distance (about 500m) which we can recommend, it has a simple menu and a relaxed atmosphere. For a more complete menu we'd recommend Nunzio's, which is a 10 minute drive. We enjoyed visiting Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Citta di Castello and a number of other places but feel like we haven't seen half of it.

This is a place that is well recommended, especially if you have young children. The owners will go to great lengths to make your stay a perfect one and I must say in our case they succeeded. We would definitely like to enjoy another vacation here.

We have spent marvelous days at Villa la Rosa. Everything was perfect there and the simplest details of the house just turned our holiday into an unforgettable daydream. Spending time at Villa la Rosa means living in a fairytale.
After a long journey we were received warmly by Enrica, the owner. She prepared a rich welcome brunch full of everything!!! Umbrian salami, torta al testo, bread, biscuits, croissants, red wine, coke, jam, honey, milk. You just don’t have to buy anything! All you need is there! Even olive oil, sugar, coffee, salt, spices, soaps, washcloths, shampoos…
As you enter inside the Villa you feel like Home! The very large living room is equipped with everything! Sofas, armchairs, Sat TV, CD and DVD player, chairs and a long table. In the fireplace area there’s a table with a never-ending number of games! There’s also the karaoke and you can sing freely since there’s nobody around! The Villa is completely isolated so you don’t have to think you’re disturbing others.
All rooms are characterized by a color and all of them have TVs and very comfortable beds. In the garden there are tables, chairs, a playground with tennis table and football, a very wide swimming pool, a whirlpool, a BBQ area on a terrace with sight on the Lake Trasimeno and a marvelous park.
Everything is kept clean and perfect by the owners themselves and they invest their own life in creating a magic environment for their guests. Everything has to be perfect, and it is.
Villa la Rosa is perfect for all those who want to rest in a very quite environment surrounded by the hills of the Lake Trasimeno. From Villa la Rosa you can visit all the most beautiful places in Umbria and Tuscany such as Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto, Arezzo.
The only thing we could do with Villa la Rosa is recommending it to all our friends!

What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed here for 11 days at the beginning of June and found the villa a little bit of paradise. It was very accurately described in the advertising listing and meticulously clean both inside and out. Every amenity was available here - no need to bring shampoo or toothpaste it was all here along with all detergents, spices, teas etc not to mention a fridge full of cheese, salami, beer, wine, juices and wonderful hampers of local produce on arrival. Further every appliance you could possibly need was available here. It was like staying in your best friends house who had considered everything you would need to make your perfect holiday. The spacious grounds were spectacular with a large pool and three separate sitting areas apart from the barbecue area which had its own seating area so you could admire the breathtaking views. Enrica the owner was very helpful and generous and although did not speak any English, she had a lovely friend available to speak English anytime if there was any problem. She organised a restaurant for us to stop for lunch on our journey to the villa and had us met there to be guided to the villa. She made sure everything was perfect. We could have happily stayed in this villa all day but tore ourselves away to visit Sienna and Assisi - both well worth a visit . We also visited Cortona another beautiful town but there are many very pretty villages and interesting places to visit around. A car is a must here as you are somewhat off the beaten track but Bellona restuarant is within walking distance with the most delicious Italian cuisine. We had a wonderful holiday here which we will never forget and would highly recommend this villa for a super "get away from it all" place to stay.

# Des propriétaires absolument adorables qui vous réserveront un accueil inoubliable!!! toujours à votre service, quelque soit l'heure!!!! Une villa de rêve, on s'y sent tellement bien que l'on hésite à la quitter durant la journée pour partir en visite! Les prestations sont de grande qualité, et vous trouverez absolument TOUT le nécessaire (hormis gants de toilette). Nous avons aussi apprécié avec nos ados le terrain de pétanque, les jeux de société mis à disposition... La piscine est vraiment très très agréable et toute la famille (parents + 5 ados) a pris beaucoup de plaisir à s'y retrouver souvent. Propreté IMPECCABLE dans toutes les pièces, et quel bonheur de trouver les lits faits lorsque l'on arrive, et de ne pas avoir à faire le ménage en repartant!!!!!!!!! Bref, un petit coin de paradis dont le souvenir que nous garderons est autant lié à la villa qu'à ses propriétaires! N'hésitez pas une seconde. Voiture indispensable.

We can only judge Villa Rosa as marvellous.
Already the welcome by Enrica and her friend Fabiola agree to a beautiful holiday. The promised welcome kit in the form of a snack (a huge plate with Prosciutto, Salami and other sausage specialties, and excellent cheese), wine and water is so great that for the next two days you do not need to buy anything except small things (e.g. milk).
Should you have any problem, Enrica is also always available.
The House, garden and pool are beautiful, new and very well maintained. The kitchen equipment is incredible - we have found never similar. There is everything you could need only perhaps.
Beautifully also the situation - a beautiful view, only one neighbour in close proximity, who is present only on weekends and much pure nature.
The tips of Enrica for shopping and Lunch/Dinner are always recommended.
All sights, starting from the Trasimeno Lake, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio in the North are acceptable time away. Should you travel with children, the house offers apart a normal pool also a small children's pool and playground. Various games and videos are also available for children.
Our summary: one of the most beautiful holiday houses where we ever have stayed.

Wir (2 Familien - 4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder zwischen 3 und 6 Jahren) haben nun bereits zum 2. mal unseren Urlaub in der Villa la Rosa verbracht und denken bereits daran unser 3. mal zu buchen ... :-). Man kann die Villa einfach nur wärmstens empfehlen, die Sauberkeit im und um rund das Haus, die Herzlichkeit mit der man empfangen wird, die absolute Ruhe die dort herrscht ... einfach traumhaft. Der überdimensionale Pool (ca. 6 x 11 Meter) ist ebenfalls ein hit und auch eingezäunt, was für Familien mit Kindern überaus wichtig & entspannend ist! Ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ist ein sehr nettes Restaurant mit überaus moderaten Preisen und guten Speisen. Die Lage der Villa ist für uns ebenfalls ein Traum. Trotz der abgeschieden Lage, ist man in ca. 30 Minuten z.B. am Trasimeno See, in ca. 45 - 70 Minuten in Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio und in ca. 90-100 Minuten in Siena oder gar Orvieto. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt somit für uns zu 100% !

Wenn Sie also daran denken die Villa zu mieten, und Sie noch frei ist ... können Sie ohne weiter nachzudenken zuschlagen, sie werden es nicht bereuen und wahrscheinlich auch wieder kommen wollen ;-)!

Wir haben unvergässliche Tage an der Villa la Rosa verbracht. Als wir angekommen sind, wurden wir von der Besitzerin, Enrica, herzlich empfangen. Sie hat für uns ein reiches Willkommenbrunch vorbereitet mit vielen umbrischen Produkten: Käse, Schinken, Salami, Rotwein, Getränken, Schokoladen, Croissants, Kuchen, Marmeladen, Kaffee, Milch. In der Villa gibt es schon alles und deswegen müssen die Gäste gar nichts kaufen. In der Küche gibt es Salz, Zucker, Olivenöl, Kaffee, Teller, Töpfe, Besteck, Waschmitteln, usw.
Alles, was man brauch, findet man schon im Haus!
Im weiten Saal haben wir Sat-TV, DVD- und CD-Player, Spiele, Couch, einen großen Tisch, Stühle und Sessel! Dank der Wärme des großen Kamins fühlt man wirklich wie zu Hause!
Alle Bettzimmer sind bestens ausgestattet mit bequemen Matratzen und jedes Zimmer kennzeichnet sich für eine bestimmte Farbe. Auch in den Badezimmern gibt es alles: Seifen, Shampoos, Schaumbäder, usw.
Im Außen findet man ein sehr großes Pool, einen Garten und einen Park mit Stühlen, Tischen, Couch, Sesseln, Liegestühlen, Spielen für Kinder, Tischtennis und Fußball.
Jedes Detail des Hauses macht den Aufenthalt einen wahren Traum!
Alle Räumer der Villa werden von den Besitzern selbst mit Liebe gepflegt und gereinigt. In allen Ecken der Villa fühlt man die Leidenschaft der Besitzer. Für Sie ist es notwendig, alles perfekt für ihre Gäste zu machen.
Die Villa ist für alle Personen zu empfehlen, die Ruhe und Stille suchen denn sie befindet sich in einem abgesonderten Ort entfernt von den Geräuschen der Stadt. Vom Park kann man nicht nur die Hügel sondern auch den Trasimenosee bewundern. Von der Villa kann man die schönsten Ortschaften Umbriens und der Toskana besichtigen wie z. B. Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto, Gubbio und Arezzo.

Villa la Rosa: ein Traum für Ihren Urlaub! Das stimmt! Wir werden zweifellos die Villa an alle empfehlen!
