This newly renovated condo is only one block away from the famous Waikiki beach renowned for its surfing, boogie boarding, snorkelling and of course swimming and sun tanning and only minutes away from all the action on Kalakaua Ave, then come back to a quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable space and enjoy beautiful sunsets from your lanai, while checking out the ocean for surfing conditions.
The Waikiki Banyan sits only one block from the world famous Waikiki Beach. This condo is located on the 7th floor, one floor above the pool and recreation deck.
Save money if you like, and enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, free covered parking, and free WIFI. Condo is equipped with a 42' flat screen TV, DVD player with access to netflix via WIFI in the living room, and another TV in the bedroom. The convenient sleeping arrangements include two full/double beds in the bedroom, and a queen size pull out in the living room with a new 7' memory foam mattress.
We use Koko Resorts as our onsite management team for all our bookings and any concerns you may have while staying in our condo. Koko resorts has a very friendly staff and provides convenient amenities free of charge, such as boogie boards, golf putters,tennis rackets,basketballs,portable folding cribs,and high quality inflatable mattresses should you have more guests than beds. Their amenities can be checked out from their office on a first come first served basis. They also provide your beach towels!
The Waikiki Banyan complex has two towers and approx 400 units in each tower, tower 2 is called the Mauka tower, which means towards the mountains, tower 1 is called the Makai which in Hawaiian means towards or by the sea, which our condo is in. The complex has a vacation resort atmosphere, with a very large pool, two hot tubs, saunas, snack bar, tennis court, basketball court, putting green, children's play area and yes of course, BBQ grills.
We have a one time charge of a $99 cleaning fee.

Exterior Building Enhancement Project
The Association of Owners of the Waikiki Banyan has begun an exterior enhancement project including concrete restoration, re-sealing of windows, lanai maintenance, and painting of the exterior of the building. Most work will be restricted to Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is scheduled to be completed by the end of December 2013. Public areas will typically be accessable with some exceptions.
There will be some periods of noise associated with the exterior concrete repair; all other work will create minimal noise and inconvenience. For safety and security, it is important that guests keep windows and lanai doors closed while work is being done. Lanai furniture will be removed at times as well for surface inspections and repairs.
Koko Resorts has no control of or actual knowledge of the dates that renovation work will occur and work may be delayed past the expected completion date. Upon guest request, Koko Resorts will refund 15% off of the room rental rate for dates actually effected by lanai restrictions and/or significant noise. Please only book this suite if you are willing to accept these conditions as no further refunds, unit changes, or cancellations will be available due to the renovation.
Exterior Building Enhancements are currently being done for Tower 2 on the makai side (the ocean facing side.) Specifically they are working on the 06, 04, and 02 stacks.
Work has started on Tower 1 on the ewa side (even number condos.) On May 15th,2013 work started on the sheer wall of Tower 1 that faces Tower 2 and on the 02 stack of Tower 1. The renovators project 7 weeks to complete work on a drop so work on the 02 stack should take them into the first week of July/2013.
