Outside the home enjoy spectacular warm sunsets off the second floor rear deck while overlooking the pool, and ocean views from the front decks.
The front second floor deck has a porch swing to relax in as you watch the island come to life while sipping your morning coffee. The front third floor deck has ample table space under a covered area for alfresco dining or a card playing tournament!
Other features you will enjoy outside the home include parking on the concrete pad for two vehicles and a separate brick pad (only) for boat parking. You will find a rectangular picnic table under one side of the carport for protection from the elements, a charcoal grill and food prep area at the side of the home, an outdoor shower, pool, hot tub, and lounge chairs inside the fenced area with lovely palm trees to give you a tropical paradise ambiance.
Inside the home you will find the first floor game room has a wet bar complete with microwave, refrigerator, wine fridge, and separate ice maker along with a pool/ping pong table, mini stereo and television. There is also a laundry center (full size washer/dryer) and full bath. Two entrance doors make this space accessable for enjoying the pool as well as coming in with groceries from your car.
In addition to the previously mentioned front and rear decks on the second floor, you will also find three of the four bedrooms. There is a king bed master suite with an ensuite full bath, and a second master suite which has a queen bed and private access to a shared full bath. The third bedroom on the second floor has two separate beds, a full size and a twin bed with another twin trundle bed. This bedroom can sleep up to 4 persons. The front deck with swing is accessed privately from both master suites, while the rear covered deck is accessible from center hall or by taking the outside deck steps from the pool area.
The third living level features a cathedral ceiling in the great room with a gas fireplace, large kitchen & dining area (seating for 8 at the table), a kitchen eating counter (4 stools), and beautiful ocean views from the deck. The final bedroom, a queen master suite with private access to a shared full bath complete this floor.

a. Cancellations greater than 60 days prior to scheduled date of arrival will be subject only to a 25% fee and the Owner will bear the additional risk of re-rental.
b. Cancellations 60 days or less prior to scheduled date of arrival AND IF the week is re-rented will be subject only to a 25% fee. If the week is NOT re-rented Guest forfeits all deposit.
c. Guest bears the exposure risk of bad weather, including potential hurricanes and mandatory evacuations. If you are concerned about this risk we suggest acquiring trip insurance, available affordably from various companies on the Internet.

Two families, one beachy quest! After many continuous years summering on the Jersey shore from the Philly burbs, in 2011 we ventured to the pristine waters of the Outer Banks. Instantly, we fell in love and began to live a Carolina Dream!
Purchased in June of 2012, Peace Love and Sandy Feet was formerly rented through an agency, then known as 'Susans Seacret'. Its wonderfully decorated, cozy, and has all the features you would expect from a beach home and is situated in the best possible place for families!
It's perfectly located on beach road with a walking/jogging/cycling path in front and is immediately across the street from both bicycle rental, and direct beach access - less than 50 meters to the dunes and waves!
Kill Devil Hills is in the center of all the action, too. Just a short drive up north to the wild horses of Corolla and south to Hatteras and Ocracoke, with golf, miniature golf, laser tag, boating, hang gliding, the movie theatre and everything else less than 15 minutes from our doorstep…we could not have asked for a better property to own and to share!
It's perfectly located less than one block from the (locals) best OBX store, 'stop and shop' on beach road. Additionally, it's on beach road walking/jogging path, immediately across the street from bicycle rental, and has direct beach access - and only 50 meters to the waves and dunes! It's close to a wonderful hotel called Shutters, where overflow guests often stay. But what really made us fall in love with it cannot be described. It's this generally cozy feeling you get when you arrive and enjoy the pleasing, comfortable decor and amenities. It just 'feels' like home…only better!
