I have owned the property close to 25 years . My Austrian father built homes and we worked together making this a family home. My family including my grand children have enjoyed this home for many years.
Fantastic location-Walk to the lake,Close to Sunnyside Lodge, Bike trail at the end of our street, Kilner Park playground one block away featuring,tennis courts, and volleyball court.Tahoe City 2 1/2 miles away for those who love to shop. Location, Location, Location.
Our home has a recreation room separated from the living quarters. For large groups this allows a place to go if others want to sleep and relax in the main house. Our family uses it for a place for the 8 grand kids to play,watch TV or shoot pool on holidays or summer vacation. The Recreation room has another refrigerator,and microwave which really helps for large groups. The grand kids ages are from two to twenty one.
Our home also has a fenced in yard allowing privacy for your group. The front of the home is large enough for a boat or RV to park. There is enough space for 8 cars in the summer and 5 cars in the winter.

An awesome place to vacation!
I loved the fact that we could all be together with our children and then when they went to sleep, all the adults could come together in the living room. It was much better than staying at a hotel, where at the end of the night, we would all have to turn in at the same time as our kids!
Fantastic Cabin for Family and Friends!
There is a park, playground, and public tennis courts less than a 5 minute walk away which was so much fun. For family outings we went into Tahoe City (about a 5 minute drive) and Squaw Valley (about 15 minute drive).
Perhaps my favorite part of the house was the "after hours" recreation room that the grown-ups could use after all of the kids were put to sleep. The room was completely sound proof, so the we could be as loud as we wanted without worrying about waking the little ones. This was quite the treat.
At any rate, we can't wait to go back and would recommend it to anyone.
