I have stayed at the Palms of Destin before, but I am so happy to have found owners of a unit that truly care about the unit and the guests staying there. It is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. I called Jim with a question when we got there and he responded right away. They refunded the security deposit immediately. The price was a steal for spring break! Even though there were a lot of young adults there, we never heard them while in the room. The bar downstairs has great specials with genuinely nice locals that we became friends with. Our two teenage girls had a blast too. The pool is incredible, even though it was too cold to enjoy it this time. We couldn't ask for a better vacation or nicer owners. Thank you again Jim and Celeste for your hospitality. We will be back.

I've been to the Palms of Destin before, but Jim & Celeste were amazing! They were genuinely concerned that we have the best vacation possible. This was evidenced by their calling me both before & after our stay to make sure everything was perfect. I was very impressed! The condo was immaculate & well decorated. We. had all the appliances (coffee pot, blender, toaster, DVD player) & supplies (paper products, laundry & dishwasher packets) we needed. I had my 3 children & there was plenty of room. The condo is conveniently located on the 2nd floor w/a balcony overlooking the pool. It was Spring Break & yet we were never kept awake by any college students. Many owners won't rent to anyone under 25. The other thing I need to mention was that the condo rate was not increased nearly as much as many others. Celeste told me it's b/c she knows how expensive travel can be & charged less than she could have charged. Wow! At the end of our stay, my deposit was refunded immediately & Jim even mailed our charger back that I left there & a check for the cost of the shuttle that was not operating. Again, you could not rent a nicer condo from anyone better!

My much awaited vacation had finally come and I had great expectations! This resort and unit exceeded all my expectations! The location of the resort is great. It is in the middle of Destin and close to everything. This unit is on the second floor and has a great view of the pool and great sunsets! The unit was very clean and felt new. The decor was vern modern, beachy and welcoming. The resort had a great pool, gym, tennis courts, and playground. The spa is also very nice. The owner was very easy to deal with and I had no problems during my stay. Needless to say, I will be staying at this resort/unit everytime I come to Destin! I would recommend this unit to all my friends and family members.
Also I recommend visiting baytowne wharf. There are multiple nice restaurants, shops, concerts, and a nice peir. Another favorite location is The Back Porch Restaurant just across the street from the resort. Make sure to try the back porch oysters!!
