House with Wasted Potential
Our large family stayed at this spacious house for a week. The privacy of the lot and beach was of interest to us as there were 3 young children. We were not disappointed with the the beach or privacy. The main floor and second level were beautiful, although it appeared the sheets had not been changed in one of the bedrooms. The wi-fi is extremely sporatic so much so that it is difficult to even send/receive a text before losing the signal. We had issues with mice as well and found the lower level not a desirable place to stay because of mold and water issues. The kitchen was adequately stocked but not the greatest I have seen in a vacation rental. We, too, found that the porches were not swept when we arrived. There was quick response when I reported that the kitchen sink had a leak and a plumber arrived early the next day. Overall, I think the pros outweighed the cons but for the price of the house, all three levels should have been usable.

Owner's Response: I am pleased you and your family enjoyed your visit! The privacy and beauty of the beach is our main attraction and Way Over Yonder enjoys sharing it! Because we are located "Way Over Yonder" yes, cell service can at times be challenging. However, many people enjoy Way Over Yonder for this reason, to be unconnected with the world. Because cell service can be spotty I provide a land line. (Texts are controlled by cell towers and not wi-fi). I was not aware of any mold or water issues, however I will be investigating this to find a solution, if we do in fact have a problem, and Way Over Yonder appreciates you calling it to our attention. Again, I am pleased you enjoyed your stay, and hope you will visit us again !
