Relaxing, even with the kids

What a great vacation! We hoped to leave noisy life behind and be beach bums for a week. There is a lot to do in the area, but mostly we wanted to swim, play in the sand, and nap. This rental was wonderfully relaxing. The decor is simple and soothing, the furniture comfortable, the bathrooms blissfully new and clean. Everything we needed was there, so we didn't have to waste our time running around to pick up that last minute thing. The kitchen has all the essential tools for making family meals (and some extras for grown up time), including wonderful new appliances. The beach closet has all the toys and beach gear you could want, so no need to pack your own sandy stuff on the car trip. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk, with a preschooler who has to stop and inspect all the flowers and butterflies, so normal people can probably get there faster. The water and sand are amazing! We've gone both early and late in the season and enjoyed great weather on both ends. Oh and the pool was very convenient and a wonderful bonus. The kids loved reading, playing games, and stargazing from the upstairs balcony, while mom and dad leaned back in the Adirondack chairs, closed our eyes, and took in the ocean breeze. It is a great location, close to all the beach attractions, without that overbuilt feeling (and noise) you get from giant resorts. We recommend this rental highly and will definitely be back.

Fantastic Vacation Rental!!

We have visited this part of Florida many times and this is overall the best place we have stayed! We have a large family (2 Adults, 4 Children) and it was not cramped at all. This complex was so great for the kids (especially the pool and shuffleboard (who knew)) right outside the door. Gave us the freedom to watch and relax while cooking/grilling! We love biking, so it was great to be able to ride off the back porch and have sidewalks for miles either way on old 98....by the way I recommend taking the bikes to Watercolor / Seaside for a picnic!! This unit was SO quite and clean. The amenities...better than what we have at home. We are going to come back for sure!

This town home is beautiful!!! First, let me say, having stayed at several places near the beach, the mattresses were FABULOUS!! Many rentals don't put a lot of money into the beds, but this was like your own home. The place was great for us, the kids stayed on the pullouts in the upstairs "den" but did not bother me in the master. Very neat, very clean, very nice!!! The walk to the beach was nothing. You are right across the street from a great restaurant, 5-10 minutes from the grocery store. The property has a pool and grills available. The owners are great & the maintenance guy is nice and very responsive (we had a towel rack that fell off and needed to be put back up). Not only WOULD i recommend this to people I know, I already have and I am coming back again next summer.
