This lakefront home is beautiful. There are 3 bedrooms and a large open concept living area that is comfortable for a group. The kitchen had all of the amenities. We got up early each morning for a canoe ride around the lake. The water was still and the air cool as we watched the birds begin the day. Each day we spent a good deal of time swimming, boating and sunning on the dock. In the afternoons, we explored all the little riverfront towns and returned for the sunset and cocktails on the deck. The Goodspeed Opera House is nearby and we enjoyed a performance there. Our stay here was delightful

This property is so very special. The lake house and property is enveloped in natural beauty. Every view is framed by lush greenery and the reflection of a clear beautiful lake. The lake house has an open floor plan which is perfect for family/friends gatherings either in a lovely open air full ceiling dining/living room area, on the screened porch, or on the full length deck area. Each of the bedrooms are also spacious and very comfortable with breath taking views. The dock is another perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake water which is absolutely pristine. The property is clean, well-kept and the property owners were especially kind and helpful. The property is also conveniently located near top rated restaurants, interesting sight-seeing destinations, and quaint east coast shops. This property is a New England gem!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely secluded camp in August of 2013. After travelling the curvy dirt road to this cottage, it is such a pleasant surprise to arrive at this beautiful, secluded, cottage, tucked in amongst the trees. The attention to detail in the design of this home made us feel like we were vacationing with the rich and famous. Our favorite feature is the large expanses of windows in every room providing an exquisite view of nature everywhere you look, even on a rainy day. We woke up to the singing of the birds and call of the loons. You can really experience the “camp” feel at this cottage in the woods, while still enjoying all the modern conveniences.

The owners are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area and have stocked this cottage with every amenity you could want. There is no need to pack anything but your clothes. It is very quiet and peaceful, clean, and provides plenty of both sunny and shaded areas to gather and enjoy each other’s company. The dock down by the water is very private since there is an island directly out front. We spent many hours visiting with our relatives from the area, catching up on each other’s news, and enjoying each other’s company without any interruptions.

It is a truly the perfect haven to escape from the stresses of everyday life. We came home feeling refreshed and with pictures and memories to last a lifetime. Thanks Dan and Debbie for sharing your place with us!
