The apartment is located almost in the heart of Madrid which makes it the perfect choice for those who love to feel the rhythm of the city. It is fully equipped with all the necessary facilities - air condition, ovens, washing machine - just as it is said in the description. I'd definitely recommend this location to all people looking for a nice stay in Madrid.

Our family of 4 stayed in this apartment March 2011 for a week while touring Madrid.
The 2 most memorable points about this property is its location and cleanliness. It is as clean & modern as it looks in the pictures.
-There is a metro stop right outside the building's front door. We took the metro from the airport and to every site on our list.
-It's on a busy street, but at night we just closed the shutters on the window & the street noise was muted.
-It's also in great proximity to restaurants, coffee shops & a neighborhood grocery store.
-The neighborhood & building felt safe.
-It's on the 3rd or 4th floor which wasn't a problem because if we wanted to use it, the elevator worked fine although it's small.
-The apartment itself had plenty of space for us and our 2 sons. One unexpected upside was that it has 2 1/2 baths; we were only expecting 2.
-We also enjoyed our interaction with Miguel, David & Jose; they were quite helpful. I was a little skeptical about giving up a cash deposit on arrival, but everything was totally above board & professionally handled when it was time for the return of our cash.
-I would recommend this location overall.
-The only downsides at the time we stayed there was that the clothes washer did not work properly and the internet service didn't work, though they tried to get the internet going while we were there, but unsuccessfully.
-Additionally, the kitchen isn't particularly well stocked for cooking or dining. Traveling with our 2 teenaged sons, we absolutely intend to use the kitchen and the laundry over the course of the week and that glitch was a little annoying.
-However, the downsides were definitely off set by the all of the good things mentioned above.

This apartment was perfect for our group of 6 who had never travelled to Spain before. Way more beautiful than pictures show. Owner was absolutely wonderful, attentive, respectful, and helpful.

The apartment was clean and spacious with modern furniture (from Ikea) and closets in all three bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable (2 twins in 2 rooms and 1 queen in 3rd bedroom). Super comfortable sofas in living room recline and can double as extra sleeping accommodations if necessary. Small washer located in kitchen (no dryer, drying rack provided) - it's best to ask owner how to operate; not like US washer. Two large full baths with standing showers, one tiny half bath off of kitchen.

Kitchen is stocked with fridge, stove, microwave, & cooking utensils. (USA tip, fridge is smaller than in the US & food doesn't have all the preservatives we're used to so grocery shop on a smaller scale.) Also, bring reusable shopping bags or be prepared to purchase them as supermarkets do not provide free shopping bags for groceries.

Metro stop is right in front of the apartment building (however, when it closes after hours, the next closest stop is only about 2 blocks away). Short walking distance to main shopping district, supermarket, and restaurants. Street is very noisy but windows block out all of the sound day and night. No screens on large, beautiful windows.

Elevator is tiny (maybe 2 people at one time) so apartment is really a 4th floor walk up. Building is older but charming. Entrance remains locked at all times; only access is by residents with keys.

We will definitely return and use this apartment each time as it made for an overall phenomenal experience!

Español : Erameos un grupo de franceces de seis personas : una pareja joven (con una mujer embarazada), una pareja de jubilados (60 años) y dos adolescentes (14 y 16 años).
Se trata de un apartamento muy limpio, con mucho espacio. La estacion de metro esta muy cerca. Los propietarios son simpaticos y atentos. NO TUVIMOS NINGUN PROBLEMA.

Français: Nous étions un groupe de français (un couple de retraités, un jeune couple avec femme enceinte et deux ados). L'appartement était très propre, avec beaucoup d'espace. Il y a deux salles de bains, ce qui permet de gagner du temps le matin. Il y a aussi trois WC. Les proprios sont vraiment très sympathiques, ils nous donnent énormément de renseignements avant d'arriver. C'est un logement très bien situé (station de métro en bas de l'immeuble, à 10 min à pied de la puerta del sol). Je recommande vivement de louer ce logement, nous y avons passé un bon séjour en famille. C'était la première fois que je louais un logement à l'étranger, je ne suis pas déçue.

Muy caliente, una organización perfecta y un apartamento ideal para unos días en Madrid con los amigos. El apartamento es lo suficientemente amplias como para respetar el ritmo de cada uno y muy cerca del centro para hacer todo a pie. Nos gardont cada 6 una memoria excelente.

Nuestra estancia en el piso de San Bernardo fué fabulosa!!!
Está muy bien situado tanto para ir caminando a todos los sitios como los medios de transportes como ser metro y autobus.
El Piso es sumamente completo, bien equipado y con todas las comodidades por su amplitud, electrodomésticos, ropa blanca y luz natural por sus ventanales sobre la calle. Los dueños son muy atentos y correctos. Muy recomendable para grupos de 6 personas o familias. Se los recomiendo!

El departamento esta a nuevo, con todas las comodidades. La atencion es excelente. La ubicacion es muy buena, cerca de todo. El edificio esta en refaccion.
