The minute you walk into this custom home, you experience the architect’s objective of enjoying the magnificent water views. You can see Lake Ceitus just beyond the large swimming pool as you enter the front door because of the open floor plan and expansive windows. Every room's windows and doors are designed to maximize the spectacular lake views. The rear of the property, including the lanai and pool area, face south so you can be assured of receiving plenty of sunshine. Cape Coral typically receives 335 days of sunshine every year. At times dolphins and manatees can be observed swimming the area. There is about 4000 total covered square feet, 2300 with A/C, a large pool and a boat dock. You are less than 10 minutes to open water and great fishing or you can fish right from the dock.

Cape Coral: Cape Coral is located in Southwest Florida and is well situated for visiting nearby Fort Myers, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Naples, and only a couple of hours to Miami or Fort Lauderdale. Cape Coral is served by Southwest International Airport (RSW) which is about 30 minutes away. I find it is usually cheaper to fly into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) and make the drive across the everglades on alligator alley. Cape Coral is called “America’s Venice” for good reason. It's paradise for boating enthusiasts with over 400 miles of canals and access to the Gulf of Mexico. Take the boat to the some of the world's most beautiful beaches like Bonita Beach, Captiva Island, Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach, where you can enjoy the sun and watch wild dolphins play.

Ding Darling wildlife refuge on Sanibel Island is also a wonderful outing. The Edison Ford Museum in Fort Myers offers a glimpse into the lives of two amazing individuals.
My name is Todd and I have lived in Denver, Colorado my entire life. I have worked for Denver Fire Department for nearly 33 years now. I have a few years left till I retire at which time I hope to escape our cold winters and live in this beautiful home. Until then, I want to open my home with it's gorgeous views for others to enjoy.
I looked at a lot of homes in the Cape Coral area but when I walked into the Villa Del Lago, I immediately fell in love with the views and the fact that you can experience them from almost every room. Also, close proximity to the open water was a must. So many homes have a narrow canal and very few are actually on one of the lakes that lead to the Gulf. There are a lot of beautiful homes in Cape Coral but very few have these kind of views. You can update a home but you can't change the view. The previous owners sold me on this home by just sitting in the great room and watching the fish jump in the lake through the expansive windows. I could picture myself doing that while relaxing with a book or my laptop.
This area of Cape Coral is newer and more secluded than other areas, yet close enough to shopping and restaurants. You can climb in one of the supplied kayaks and cruise around the lake or go to one of the close wildlife preserve area just a few minutes away.
