We loved this vacation rental because, on top of having a beautiful view with great walks along the bluffs and a gorgeous beach nearby, it really had all the comforts of home. It's kept very clean and incredibly well stocked with just about anything you can imagine you might need or want. We loved the separate master bedroom suite with a fold-out bed downstairs that's actually comfortable...perfect for our daughter. And the views from the master bedroom were amazing. We had lamented a bit before hand over not being right on the ocean, but once we heard how loud the sea lions are, we were glad we had just the right distance to see and walk to the ocean without having to be overwhelmed by the sound of their barks. The place is situated in a peaceful little neighborhood right between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, so it's easy to go both directions. The owner is very kind and refunded our full cleaning deposit. We'd come back here again in a heartbeat!

My wife, young son and I wanted a relaxing weekend on the coast, and we were not disappointed. The location of the Seapines house was perfect, on a spectacular bluff within easy walking distance to a beach (Caspar) and a lighthouse (Point Cabrillo Light Station). Plenty of beaches (we really enjoyed glass beach), wineries, restaurants and other interesting activities (give the Skunk Train a try) are an easy drive away.

The house, itself, is very comfortable, with truly spectacular views. The kitchen was very well equipped, and information for running the various electronic devices and games was useful and well-written. We spent a good deal of time relaxing and playing in the game room. Everything was clean and in excellent working order, and Curt (the owner) was super helpful.

I would highly recommend this property, particularly at this price point.

Had a great time at the house. Stayed with 2 other couples and it worked perfectly. Mud room was great for wet shoes, coats, etc. Loved the master suite.
We were able to see some whales at the lighthouse which is about a mile away. There's a trail to it also!
Town of Mendocino is a short 5 min drive and is fun to walk around.
Would definitely stay again.

Seapines was perfect for our weekend along the Mendocino coast. The location of the house is ideal: close to Hwy 1, but not too close, walking distance to Caspar beach, short drives to Mendocino town, Fort Bragg, and all other local attractions, and a hop skip and a jump from cliffs overlooking the ocean (so close you can hear the waves and sea lions from the house!). The house is even better in person than in the photos! It was perfectly clean and well-maintained. The heat worked well and quickly. The stocked kitchen was pleasant to cook in. The house was wonderfully dog-friendly(as all of mendocino is!) and came with dog blankets, towels and bowls. Curt was more than helpful, sending me great tips on area activities and communicating everything about the house. He even refunded part of the cleaning fee as we left things tidy! I highly recommend Seapines and would return in a heartbeat! It was great for a couple (even if bigger than we needed) and would be wonderful for a family. With the house what it is and the incredible location, Seapines is a fantastic value for a unforgettable vacation. Thank you, Curt!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this bright and comfortable home with beautiful views from the upstairs bedroom. Thoughtful touches provided by owners included flashlights on the bedside table, a well-stocked kitchen, ample supplies of paper goods,leftover containers, etc. Wood stoves kept us warm and are aesthetically pleasing. We made good use of the kitchen, choosing to eat in both nights, so really appreciated the spice selection, and gourmet cookware and utensils. Hiked from the house to the nearby beach, continuing onto a lovely trail across from the beach which wound through forest, and looped back through the neighborhood to our house. Gorgeous ocean and forest scenery. Also loved proximity to both Jughandle State Park and the Mendocino botanical gardens.
